I used to watch The Price is Right, but it's just not as fun as it used to be back when Bob Barker was apart of it. I just can't find Drew amusing anymore like I did when he hosted "Whose Line is it Anyways."

But of course, that's where Netflix comes in.

I agree with these two, only because when I was a child I'd play SMB3 with my dad and Sonic 2 with my cousin and was always the second player, so I grew to like these guys.

Jesus. What's even worse is people are trying to turn this issue AGAIN into a political debate.

i'm actually not suprised what happens in ct. i've seen some crazy stuff while living in ct. fights, bomb scares, so much more. i'm kind of lucky i don't live in new haven or new britain. i live in plainville. ocasionally cops show up on our street and such. there was even a murder in my neighborhood years back when i was in 8th or 9th grade. guys strangled another person to death. i even knew the guy because it was 1 of my friends dad.

anyways got my bleach today. tomorrow i'll watch the next disc and the day after i'll watch the final disc. paid 32 something. contains 12 episodes and is 300 min long or 5 hours.

I agree about Price is Right not being as fun. I've seen a couple since Drew Carey started hosting, and wow, he looks amazing now. Almost looks like Buddy Holly or whoever, I'm picturing.

I miss whose Line, it was hillarious. Both British, and when the Drew Carey cast was on it.

As tragic as the events in Connecticut are, I can already sense the politicizing. Monday morning anti-gun advocates and gun-rights advocates are going to be at each other's throats, yelling, screaming, and disrespecting the dead by using them for their own causes.

There have been so many massacres over the last ten years that they don't even phase me anymore.

And that's just sad.

I'd rather be allowed to have a gun in case a wacko decides to use his against me for no particular reason. Also, burglary. No kne's taking my shit without a tussle.

Face facts: some people are just homicidal maniacs and leaving ourselves defenseless isn't the answer.

Well, it would've been far more unlikely if there actually were gun control in this country, so... yea, it's going to be political. It's regrettable that the kids died, to be sure, but politics is always going to overshadow it.

That killing spree pissed me off. Why target Kindergarteners(and teachers) of all things? Actually, why at all? He should've just killed himself instead and spare 18+ lil toddlers lives.

Well...then we get into perhaps the greatest flaw in strict federal gun control or outright federal firearms bans. Regardless of how many people desire a state reminiscent of the United Kingdom it won't and shouldn't happen in the United States as it would be A. impossible and B. dangerous to implement, in the United States..You make firearms harder to obtain and the everyman may still forgo buying, but actual criminals, gangs, people hell-bent on destruction, they'll just buy illegally. These guns will have no serial numbers, no possible way of tracing the purchase, and funnel money back into organized crime syndicates and drug cartels.


Now onto a more personal issue. A lot of people forget that the United States is continental nation and is far more than New York, Chicago, and L.A. Where I grew up almost everyone carried in the summer because of rattle snakes; I've killed a few myself. My dad grew up in the same area, on a ranch, and he'd have to deal with coyotes and wolves (although in my lifetime the two things I only ever saw him shoot at were rattle snakes and a Woodpecker who was pecking the house ). Anywho, guns are a necessity for many people but a lot of people in urban environments tend to forget that. That's part of why I'm a huge states rights advocate; there may be few people in the state of Idaho, but we know how we want to live and I don't think it should be up to a congress from New York to decide whether or I can have a firearm, because simply won't understand. For folks like me, guns aren't just for protection and they aren't just a hobby. They are a part of our culture out here. I bonded with my brothers and my father while shooting at pop cans and my grandpa took me out hunting with a rifle he bought when he was 18.

Rant in short: I am a small government, states-rights guy. I'm that way because I came from a state that isn't very powerful when it comes to federal issues. Let each state do what is right for each state, and for Idaho that is easy and legal access to firearms.
