In lighter news...Doom 3 is still creepy as hell on the 360.

BFG Edition? If so then I agree, but at least it isn't as frustrating as the original Doom 3 was

BFG edition indeed. I couldn't beat the original without using cheat-codes. Also I can't wait to the RoE expansion...havn't touched it yet or the lost missions.

I got it on launch day on PS3, powered through it and beat all of it in about a week. RoE was a bit tougher than Doom 3, but still worth playing. The Lost Mission felt like a return to classic Doom form in a great way, but there were some plot inconsistencies. Oh, and the Grabber is a lot of fun.

my dad beat deus ex human revolution on easy and i beat it on normal. did enjoy the cutscenes and voice acting. both were great. i chose the ending were i blew up the facility. but i did watch all 4 endings thanks to saving and loading.

I'm not sure if I should make a thread or post it in one of the open threads... I'll just put it in here for safe keeping because I'm confused.

Anyways, I just read that the new systems might not be backwards compatible, since this was a rumor going around, it now might be true.
which sucks because that means I have to keep not only my ps2 to play all those great games, but now my ps3, in which I was never going to get rid of in the first place but still...

Why can't they make it backwards compatible? This just makes no sense to own the old systems just to play the old games. And yeah, I know that you can download ps2 games othe ps3, which I have, but man they are glitched up like crazy. Bully, I can get through a lot of it sometimes because it just glitches up like crazy.

just finished watching taken 2. it was very good. thought his daughter did a great performance. i do enjoy the 1st film more though. i'm sure how they ended it there will be a 3rd film.

I'm in this class that's mandatory for all animation students when they're in their senior year. We have two semesters to make a short film and today clearly gave me the impression that working with people for this project is going to be a big pain in the rear... well... only one person on our team is a huge pain in the rear.

Me and three other people were designing a look for our main character. Me and two other girls were agreeing with a lot of the looks, but this one guy just kept challenging EVERYTHING that we thought up of. Apparently, there's rules on what features each gender has, such as square heads cannot be for females, you can't draw two lines for lips on males... I mean, there's no rules, we're drawing something that's meant to be in a dream sequence... But he nitpicked everything, and I swear all three of us at one point were going to grab our pencils and stab him.

And I gave up swearing for Lent and I already let out two thanks to him.

Gosh darn it.

In other news, my beard is start to look good now

So The Last of Us has been delayed until June 14th. Which blows. However, June 14th is a week from my birthday.

Guess that counts as a win.

The things I miss when I'm gone.

going into my place of employment after school tomorrow to schedule for orientation. little nervous but excited.

as for the banishments and skulls and what-not, I disagree with them. I dont think anyone deserved any of that. whats the big deal? i see more people who do things wrong than what these people who have been banned have done.

Instead of skulling people who hardly do anything wrong. just reward the people who post a lot of positive and helpful posts. you dont see that anymore.

Speaking of Love day, I found out the other day that InuYasha got a 2nd anime. I knew the manga continued after the anime. It apparently ended now. "InuYasha: The Final Act" covers the conclusion of the story.

I haven't seen any anime in a few years now. I kinda miss it.


I also miss the sitcom "Yes, Dear". I've never seen reruns of it since it ended in '06(?) We used to watch that all the time.
