I want to make a thread for fans of the Survival Horror genre so I can discuss the games and stuff with people... but I fear that there aren't really enough people interested on MKO.

Survival Horror? Never heard of it. Do tell.

Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, etc. Basically, games where you have to survive against the masses, whether it be the undead or otherwise. Most games that are put in the genre use "scare tactics" and item management to cause fear in the gamer.

Would F.E.A.R count? That game seems like what your talking about. I'm telling you, you haven't been scared shitless by any game till you've played F.E.A.R. If it would become included within the thread, count me in. Some of those other games are swell, though.

F.E.A.R. is more of a Horror FPS. It's a horror game, but lacks the "survival" portion since you're pretty well armed in that game. Generally, you have to be very poorly armed in Survival horror and rely on running from your enemies to conserve ammo.

Yes, especially seeing as RPG threads have failed, I think survival horror or FPS threads do well enough.

Gun Survivor 4= 3rd best Horror Game
Doom 2= 2nd Best
Resident Evil 2= #1

Resident Evil 4 was an action game. There was no horror about it.
