Today was the perfect example of why I need to get out of the Gap. Today is my day off. So I'm just casually doing a few things around my condo. Vaccumming, dusting, etc. I recently had applied for and was hired at Starbucks as an assistant manager, and my manager their wanted me to start next week, and she said she'd have my first week's schedule by yesterday. However with a few things going on in their store at the moment I fully understand that things would get delayed. However I just got a call from my store manager at Gap telling me that if I don't have a schedule for Starbucks in by 2pm today that she's not going to schedule me at all next week, and I'm a flippin manager. I couldn't fathom saying that to one of my associates, and especially not to another manager. So I called my new Starbucks manager and she says that she's working on the schedule now. I just thought it was completely ridiculous that my Gap manager acted like such a baby.

Just got home from Work Shadowing, it was very interesting. I found the job the person I followed pretty neat and wouldn't mind doing it myself.

I think it has something to do with that spider man 3 movie...or maybe the Marvel vs DC thread inspired all those other threads, but yeah I havent seen so many many comic book related threads at once.

My students aren't so bad this year, seem more relaxed compared to the other school I went to. Also found out an old high school friend is actually a substitute at the school I'm practice teaching at. Pretty neat stuff!
