I don't know the whole story here, and I probably don't want to get in the middle of it, but was whatever he did bad enough to warrant a ban?? Blade's been a dear friend to me for years now..... I can't understand the feud that's thriving here.... It saddens me to see things are turning in this direction.... There must be some middle ground for the feuding parties to work it out... Right??

I'll just post this here, since I'm sure doing so will prompt 10 of you to message it to him: How long he remains banned is up to him, just as with IOLKW and Afghanblade. I can be as nice or as mean as necessary given his attitude when submitting a ban review regarding this.

As far as humour goes, if having it at the expense of others is supposed to be funny, I'm just not buying it. I've done nothing but ask that it stop, and as seen in that thread I even deleted his reply rather than skull him, which again was an attempt to make peace there. Of course, he reposted it and disregarded the obvious attempt to help the thread, and it ended up closed for that very reason. Anyway, as I said, the ban's length is up to him and how he wishes to address it.

So which is it? Being Forum Director, do your superiors tell you to lift a ban after a certain ammount of time (assuming the banned person acts like he/she is willing to change their behavior) or do they give you free reign to lift the ban when/if you feel like it?

I've been told that I don't have a superior here. MKO works that way in terms of departments; the forums happen to be my department, as Acj's department is fan art. It's his decision what is accepted and no one elses. Likewise, it is my decision who is banned and unbanned. I only remove bans when I feel like the person is going to change for the better and not continue to do the same thing he/she was banned for. If I don't think the person is capable of doing that, I never have to unban them.

The things in signatures only annoy me, which is all I meant to imply.
