3 weeks until my birthday.

It is very windy outside.

I test for promotion tomorrow @ 1300hr... Wish me luck everyone.... (I'm nervous)

Ugh - I could put my fist through a brick wall right about now. We've been expecting a leukopak to show up at our lab at about 2pm. It's 3:45 now, and I've just heard that the courier bringing it is going to be delayed another 30-45 min.. Normally this wouldn't bother me. Earlier today my coworker Audra had volunteered to process the leukopak because the rest of us were busy earlier in the day. Well she leaves at 5:30 - and will likely leave the leukopak unfinished. And since I'm the laboratory bitch, odds are I'll have to stay late and finish it up.

So what that I live 5 minutes away now. Sometimes I hate my job

UPDATE: It's now 5:26 and Audra has been working on the leukopak for roughly an hour. She set the timer for the 30-minute centrifuge spin but never started the centrifuge! My boss Janet just found this out with just a minute left on the timer, so that's 30 minutes that was spent basically accomplishing nothing. And considering that Audra has to leave in two minutes, that's an extra half-hour I'll be sticking around here finishing up her work. That's worth another three angry smileys
