I picked up a PS Vita recently. I know it's weird timing, but I've picked up just about every Vita game that was given away through PS+ and wanted to get around to playing them?

Is it illegal to post links to your work here? Specifically in the drive-by thread?

I'm gonna go ahead and make the executive call here, and say that it's fine. I'm of the belief that we should be encouraging and supporting each other here, and so I think it's a good thing for us to share the fruits of our labor.

I have such a huge backlog of video games that I always wanted to get around for years but never got to it. So one of these games is Metal Gear Rising and holy balls this game is incredible. The boss fights and the music. The fucking MUSIC is phenomenal! God damn im having a blast.

This is my first post in about 16 years. Does that make me an old face?

I know the feel. I be having games for 2+ ears and open them up to be pleasantly surprised.

I'm currently addicted to Zombi and close to beating it.

If Among Us is free and my laptop can run it, I'm all in. If it's not free and my laptop can run it, we'll see.

It's free on mobile and $5 on Steam (I have both, Steam is better due to controls), and I would imagine that most any computer can run it. It has crossplay if you don't want to pay for the game.

Oh, I'll just get the steam version then. Been looking for an excuse to log on and play GTA III as well.

Today was my 2nd wedding anniversary, so my wife and I went out and had a great dinner together. It's a shame it rained today, because we had a boat ride booked for before our meal, but it got canceled. Still a good day overall though!

Anybody remember what that weird fighting game some dude was building and advertising on here was? It had psudo-digirized graphics and was mega edgelordy. I was looking through the general posts to see if I could find it but I have no idea when the last time anything was posted for it or about is, so Lord knows how far back it is.

The ONLY things I remember about it. Is that the finishers were like live action and supposed to be br00tal, there was a character that looked like swamp thing, and a character named Plasma.

On a different note, I got back into Shadow of Mordor and Borderlands recently, both on PS4. The online component of Mordor is getting shut down at the end of the year and I want to finish that off beforehand.

I'm here, physically. Mentally and emotionally, not so much. The current state of affairs has me just about completely checked out of things.

I just hate the direction that our country is heading in. It's not even the political stuff. It's that Americans have reverted to tribalism based on which devil they support. I miss the days when we could disagree with someone and still have a strong friendship with them.

It's easier debating in online forums. You have time to gather all your thoughts, sometimes in notepad first to properly arrange things.

In real life people interrupt you, so you never get the full point across. Sometimes they jump in any break between words, mid-sentence or ask questions that derail your train of thought because you're on a different topic than what they ask about. Even though you're knowledgable on the subject, in that instance you draw a blank, and people question your intelligence. Might as well ask a baker how to teardown/rebuild an engine while they're trying to concentrate on baking measurements n stuff.

Other times people mishear or misinterperet your words, derailing things another way.

This year has been garbage. Only pros include playing some games I bought but never played until this year (MK Armageddon and Arkham City [such a fucking great game]), but Christ, this year has been insanely taxing mentally...

While I haven't lost my job, the workload has been unexpectedly high thanks to more people staying home and buying things. Every hour working is filled to the brim with issue upon issue, and the stress is astounding. Working from home almost drove me insane; I'm now the only person in my division at the office. While I'm aware that a lot of people would be happy in my position, it's only showing me how fucked expectations have become when I still have to work 40 hours per week like the entire world isn't experiencing a pandemic.

While my city of residence is only starting to show tremendous spikes in COVID-19 cases compared to March, my parents and grandparents reside in a province with the highest number of cases. While I've friends who still question this pandemic's reality, I've lost family members to the disease when it hit their nursing homes. Somehow, because they were old, people think it's easy to disregard them for being too weak to survive. Like, what the fuck? They died without any family with them, their lives had value! 1% death rate means something when someone you love and care about is in that 1%.

I hate social media. Like m0s3pH said, it's just become tribalism, but it's not just the US that's experiencing it, because I see it bleeding into Canada. I've been keeping away from it for weeks at a time, and it's helping a lot... I'm just glad I can share those thoughts here.

If I could get you on a podcast and I could get someone to give a fuck about that podcast, I'd give you the room to say what you need to and why you believe what you believe. I'm sure it all comes down to something universally relatable and reasonable.

When everyone realizes that we all want the same things and don't have to fuck each other over to achieve them...well idk what will happen after that, but I hope it's positive.
