Overall Microsoft showed more exclusive games where as Sony showed some of my favorite games but those games are coming to the Xbox One as well. I mean getting a beta first or some different skins isn't going to change my game play experience. I don't see the problem staying online it's not going to change anything is it? And okay the used games thing is kind of annoying but I don't really share my games I mean everyone gets there own games plus not many people will get these next gen consoles straight away. When they do they're bound to give you one of the latest games free like they always do.

Microsoft has got there money and has spent it on the Xbox One that's fair to say they have invested a lot of money into this. I'm also going to say I don't think Microsoft is trying to make Sony look bad and have a competition they just want to make a good console and they now they've made mistakes so they are redeeming themselves! Sony is only winning because they're trying to bash the Xbox One which is working for them. Sorry I know I'm sounding like a Microsoft fanboy but I just think that this whole console war is just plain silly IMO.

1. People who are complaining about 24hr checks, when was the last time you've gamed without being connected to the internet for 24 hrs?

2. People who are complaining about DRM and Trade-ins. Please read (From Xbox Website):

"In our role as a game publisher, Microsoft Studios will enable you to
give your games to friends or trade in your Xbox One games at
participating retailers. Third party publishers may opt in or out of
supporting game resale and may set up business terms or transfer fees
with retailers. Microsoft does not receive any compensation as part of
this. In addition, third party publishers can enable you to give games
to friends. Loaning or renting games won’t be available at launch, but
we are exploring the possibilities with our partners."

3. People who complain about paying for Xbox live: Revealed by reading SMALL PRINT at the bottom of ad during Sony conference "Online gameplay requires PSN account with active PS+ Subscription." At least Microsoft has used the money from Xbox LIve to invest in over 300K servers that will be up by launch. What does this mean? DEDICATED SERVERS for games. No more Host BS.

It all comes down to preference (and $100). Both systems will share 85% of the same gaming library, both will offer better experiences than current gen consoles, and both will be great investments for the next decade.

You're also forgetting that if you don't pay for PS Plus you can't play any of your supposed "free games". This is honestly my only gripe with the PS4 and it should be everybody elses. The reason I have a 360 is because a lot of my friends (and I mean a lot) have a 360 and not the Playstation 3. It fucking sucks having to fork over 25 bucks for 3 months of LIVE every time I run out just to be able to communicate with them in game.

I've always appreciated how PS3 was free to play multiplayer and now they're going the shit 360 route with that and it's annoying. Then there are the blind hypocritical Sony fanboys that are all "Hahahaha you play Xbox? Have fun playing for LIVE, loser. I'm playing free." Only to see that the PS4 is doing the same the 360 does and is all "Oh, it's okay that they do it hurr durr,"

Actually MS just announced today that gold members will get two free games each month, no strings attached, unlike Sony. PSN+ users loss their free games if they cancel their subscription. Gold members won't. XBL members have also gotten discounts and free points each month for completing various task, for a while now.

So that's a BS argument.

Voice and party chat aside, you can access XBL network too without a paid subscription. It's just there is a time exclusive on some content to gold members.
Sony has been more heavy with discounts as a perk to premium users, while MS has been more content exclusive with its premium users.

Well I'm not completely sold on the PS4 yet. I think Microsoft still has time to pull their heads out of their asses. Nintendo still has a chance to step it up a bit as well. Ultimately, I have always bought whatever console I am most going to enjoy regardless of the company making it. As of right now, it looks like PS4 is the most eye catching to me.

I was surprised that there was no mention of MGS5 at the Sony Press Conference. Was it confirmed that it would be for PS4 as well?

I was decided the moment I knew we wouldn't have to have the internet to do everything in our gaming style. PS4 basically is the guaranteed system for people like me, who can't get the online crap.

If Sony keeps plus at the same price it is now, that'll be good. I'd rather pay Plus than Live to have online capabilities since not having plus restricts you of only one thing and not having Live (Gold) pretty much takes everything away. It's like mandatory to have Gold when you have an Xbox lol

So, Anita Sarkeesian, head of Femnist Frequency, complains that Xbox One didn't show any games that featured a female protagonist, and is getting a lot of bashings from it.

I kinda laughed, but then I kinda felt sorry about it... However, it just proves again that Paystation is the better system. Haha, joking aside, Xbox One was kind of impressive, however, I just can't get passed that Oddworld is coming back, even if it is a remake, still.... It's fucking Oddworld.

That and Metal Gear Solid 5.... Never disappoints.

The thing is with both next gen consoles, is that all games will be available Day 1 as a digital download. With Sony and the PS4, gamers are going to be stuck with those games permanently. You can't bring them to a friends house or re–sell them. Microsoft is creating a system where can can sell, trade and get rid of them, if you want to. The downside is the required Internet connection and authentication that everyone is giving them shit over right now.

I also don't see the problem with a constant internet connection. Anyone with a smartphone has a constant connection and gets push notification from their mail and social sites, so i don't see the big deal. MS has also said you can turn all these monitoring features off.

I don't know what you mean about PS4 not supporting used games, they're the ones encouraging letting your friend borrow a game for free WITHOUT the extra download fee, taking away from use games.

And X-Box One can't be used by people without Internet connection. That's the biggest hitter. I myself am not getting an X-Box One for that very reason. Constant online gaming adds extra boosts to many people's internet servise, you HAVE to have X-Box LIVE, and it's $100 more expensive than PS4. Easily, you must have the 2 consoles mixed up, because there is ONLY ONE THING X-Box is doing better than PS4-games. And if they didn't get KH3 on XB1, I wouldn't even care for the thing. The thing has nothing good to it Sony doesn't do better.

I wonder how good it feeld for Sony to have the Vice Grip on Microsoft's balls.

What I'm referring to is, in addition to games being released on disk through retail like they are now, all games next gen will be available to download digitally through XBL and PSN and are stored on the systems hard drive. The problem is: if you want to bring that digital copy of the game to a friends house or loan it to him, how do you plan on doing that with a digital copy of the game? Both systems will support up 50gb Blu ray disks, so theoretically games could be that big in file size. can you imagine the hassle of having to transfer a digital game to a USB thumb drive to take to your friend's house.

Also, what if you decided you no longer want the game and want to trade it or sell it. How do you plan on doing that with a digital copy of the game on the PS4? Its easy with a disk based game, but digital not so much. Microsoft is building a system to let gamer do just this, and this is what they are getting a lot of shit for, because the feature requires a constant internet connection. If you trade or sell your game to someone, the system needs to be able to wipe it from your library. Remember the piracy problem with the original Xbox and PS2 where you could rip games to a hard drive and didn't need the game disk in order to play them any longer. It is the same problem that digital game trade-ins face, and is why MS is requiring a constant internet connection and system authentication every 24 hours.

I also don't get how a system authentication is a problem to anyone either? Its been in place to prevent gamers from using a hacked 360 system on XBL for years.
