Anyone following the January 25th protest mess in Egypt? With President Mubarak refusing to resign, I worry that there's now a serious danger of bloodshed.
Anyone have any thoughts?

For 30 years.
But if he really doesn't refused to step down I also feel things are goin to get worse.
But he has been treating the people of egypt horribly.

I do admit that he is not a nice person but from what I do understand that he is an better option than some groups like the Muslim Brotherhood(a religious fanatical organization that has no love for Israel and would love to destroy them) whom want to take over Egypt.

That is completely false and the American media's coverage of the entire upheaval in the Middle East has been rife with misleading rubbish. Mubarak, Suleiman, and their entire regime is(was?) infinitely more awful than an organization that hasn't been anything but docile for the last 30+ years.

Agreed totally. Like a lot of Arab dictators (looking at you, Saudi Arabia), Mubarak justified his rule to Western powers by promoting the illusion that dictatorship was necessary to keep Islamists at bay. The false dichotomy--"It's either me or the Muslim Brotherhood"--will be proven false in the coming months.
