Is anyone here looking forward to this game? I know it kind of gets a rep for being the official nerd's game but I think it looks pretty cool. That and it proves that somewhere deep down inside of the moronic guitarist who styles his life after CKY there's a little nerd looking to get out. *sheds a tear*

I used to play Everquest and I used to love it. It is what you treat it as. I am in no way a nerd, but I enjoyed this game.

but..The game will eat away from your life. I quit, wow, two summers ago (seems like yesterday). The funny thing is that my life never changed by quitting. I didnt gain anything or start anything new (of course I wasnt playing 8 hours a day, but...)

ok, about EQII, it might drag me back in, its like a drug, a good drug, but can hurt you if you get too involved

Yeah, I never played the original but when I saw the preview and figured out how much like the Diablo series it is, I figured I had to get into it. Since I've been waiting I've checked out Champions of Norrath, pretty short, but a good game. I've seen a whole bunch of 'exlusive' crap for this game and it looks to be a tone more expansive that Champions of Norrath and Diablo so I can't wait!

I finally quit Everquest 4 months ago after playing for 2 years. I don't plan on getting Everquest 2. All I hear is bad stuff about it, especially its showing at E3. It kept lagging and crashing on the display computers at E3. Even though the graphics are impressive, the lagging won't. They had better fix it if they want it to sell.
