What were your favourite old cartoon shows, and do you think that these out-do today's cartoons?

Here's my list;
-Captain Planet
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
-California Raisins
-Transformers *Generation 2*
-Dark Wing Duck
-Ghostbusters
-He-Man

TMNT, Transformers, Ghostbusters and He-Man were re-made for this generation, but I think that the originals were a lot better. Your thoughts?

The old-school TMNT kickes the new show's ass! I can't comment on the others since I haven't watched the remakes. Captain Planet is awsome, I didn't think anyone else but me ever watched it.

I just saw that the other night, the one with Dennis Miller. Anywho, check ur listings cause they keep bouncing this one around, but it's still on the air, just always changing times.

I miss:

Thundercats
Voltron
GI Joe
Transformers (REAL ONES plz)
Fat Albert
The Nintendo one (Mother Brain was the main enemy and the kid with the 'glove' got sucked in)
He-Man

Probably a lot more but I can't type a lot right now.

I remember those shows! I can't remember the Nintendo Show's name, but it was cool! There was another one that featured cartoons of Zelda and Super Mario, which was also cool. I don't remember Fat Albert very well, but I used to watch it.

Thundercats - This has got to be my absolute Favorite cartoon....ever.

Tiger Sharks

Silverhawks

TMNT

The Spider Friends show with Spidey Firestar and Iceman (not positive on the title but I think it was Spiderman and his Amazing friends.)

X-Men (Not sure if anyone here will remember this, but...I liked the "Pryde of the X-men" episode that was shown every once in a great while in some kind of Saturday action cartoon pack along with Spider-Man and his Amazing friends and the Incredible Hulk....It was supposed to be a pilot for an ongoing series that never came about...but *shurgs* I still like it)

*looks around nervously* ummm...Inspector Gadget (Yes it may have been corny at times, but it was also very funny and Brain was cool!) *Hangs head in shame* Oh well what can ya do? tongue
