The announcement of this whole thing wasn't exactly deliberate, it happened as the answer to a question at a Q&A panel at a tiny con in Britain and the media just kinda ran away with it, forcing DC to do a press release.

The writer said the actual reason he did it was because he wanted to write Alan's gay son Obsidian, but since Obsidian no longer exists, he decided "Well hell, I'll make Alan the gay one instead."


Deadpool is whatever's funniest at the time.

Deadpool is a huge joker type character, its probably his defining feature.

He is brilliant in Hulk vs Wolverine which I'd recommend anyone to watch.

Considering the kind of person Deadpool is, I'm not sure if he even claims a sexual orientation.

If he does, I don't think he'd ever reveal it, simply because he'd enjoy watching people (as in us real life folk) guess.

That's one of the things I really like about deadpool. It's one thing to see a woman doing this sort of thing, but when a guy does it, I find it more interesting. I think its because you rarely see guys doing that without outright being labeled as gay. I just like the idea of a character such as Deadpool teetering on sexuality and making even the most straightest man uncomfortable and maybe even question his own sexuality. I know this is a little bit far-fetched, but I've always wanted a male character like that in MK. One that has the overt sexuality similar to Mileena, but having the mentality of a character like Deadpool, i don't know I think that would be pretty awesome.

What am I? Straight, surely. People are often too shy in terms of babality sexuality. If variety is the spice of life, Deadpool must be full of cinnamon. Nothing could get me, for one, uncomfortable with someone's gayness as long as I'm not part of a homosexual intercourse or that. For the record, do the BBC sexuality test in the Internet if you're curious. Even if you'll prove out a little feminine, know that the most females live longer and happier lives and are more civilized. Deadpool trolls prejudices in a funny manner.
