Girl problem, need help!

I have this friend, and I like her a lot. I mean she is literally all I've been thinking about for like the past 6 months. It's not even in a perverted way, I could honestly see myself with this girl for the rest of my life. The thing is I don't know how to tell her how I feel without freaking her out. But I feel as though if I don't let her know now, it will end up being too late as she is starting college in September, and she will most likely meet a guy there. I need help bad, I don't know what to do, and I don't want to lose her.

Do what you need to do to stay calm, go to her, say "(enter name here), I gotta tell you something. I'm gay."
Nah, J/K, do everything above except replace "I'm gay" with "I love you. Alot. And I wanna be with you. Would you be my girl?"

I'm just afraid that that will be way too sudden, and she will end up getting freaked out.

Just be like hey, I like you so what now? Ask her online. Best way.
Posibilitys:
She says lets be friends but she will keep thinking about it and think about you all the time.
She hates the idea in which he likes, she just might not want a b/f
She makes out with you (5% chance)
She slaps you (slim to none)
She just won't like you like that and you will be friends.

Do you think she likes you? Then just do it.

I know I should, but I just get nervous thinking about it. In my eyes she is perfect. She's beautiful, smart, funny, very nice, and understanding. Did I mention compassionate. She's got it all, and part of it is I don't think too highly of myself. She's told me that I'm not ugly, she said me and her going out was not out of the question, but I'm just so damn nervous, maybe I should just stop being a pussy and go for it.........argghhhhh, I hate this kind of shit.

im sort of in the same situation here so i know what your going through except in my case its the whole were basically bestfriends and she doesnt want to hurt the friendship thing.
but you should really try your best to tell her before its too late.

Whatever her reaction is to you revealing how you feel, trust me that it's a hell of a lot better and easier on you than spending (especially when she goes to college next month) God knows how much time wondering "What if I had told her???
"

Go for it. Don't make the mistake I made. You'll fucking hate yourself otherwise. Just come off confident(but not forceful), and tell her how you feel.

When I told my Friend( who is a girl by the way) That i like her, she wasn't the same person anymore.
She ignore me sometimes and when i try to talk to her she would cut of convresation shorter than before.
I'm Glad I told her How I feel because I wouldn't have Known if she like me or not!!
Tell Your Friend, If you don't you'll regret it!!
But BEWARE!!

In what kind of context did she say that? I mean, if she actually said that, what were the circumstances leading to it? I would think that alone should take away most of the risk of it ruining the friendship.
I think it's worth a shot. All I can tell you is, you have to resolve to do it. If you're afraid of coming on too strong or something, it might be a good idea to think of a way to build up to it, but do so in a way that you can't back out of it. The fact that she's going away to college soon seems (in my mind) to give you an advantage in not making an ass of yourself. If she sees you're doing this because you realize the door is closing, it should ease the idea that it seems to be coming out of nowhere. Granted, I took this approach with a girl in a similar situation, and I ended up scaring her off, but we didn't really know each other that well. But since you say you're friends with her, it should work out better there than it did for me; there was another girl I asked out after I'd been friends with her for a few months, and she only turned me down because she already had a boyfriend (though obviously she'd never mentioned it), and we stayed friends for a while, until her bf threatened me, because he's a jealous douchebag. But that's another story...

So she said that? I've said something like that before to a guy. I'll tell you what it means.
When she says that, there's a 80% chance that she HAS thought about going out with you, but is not quite ready yet. 20% chance she says that because she doesn't like you like that and is not wanting to hurt you by giving you a solid answer. I do that sometimes unless I think the guy's a jerk, and then I give them a terse answer.
I think you should give it a shot anyway, but give her a few days to make up her mind.

I had this happen to me awhile ago, too. Here's what I did: I walked up to this girl one day, made some small talk with her, then kinda ease your way into telling her I had some feelings for her.
Hope it goes well for ya, man.

Well, this has helped me a couple of times, try this...
Talk to her and say: "What would you think if I told I was in love with you?" In her respons you can tell if it was a joke or not. If she smiles you can say its for real, if she looks in manor that doesn't pleaso you, you can make something up and move on.
Good luck!

man if she hasnt showed you any signs that shes interested in you at all then just let it be. Because if shes about to go to college real soon and yall dont have anything going yet, then when u go to college your relationship wont be that tight yet and anything can happen with her and another dude when your not around

Tell her how you feel. Its what i've done in the past. And if she respects you, whether or not she's attracted to you, she'd tell you how she really feels about you in a nice respectful way. If she sais something negative or such then she's obviously not attracted to ya; immature. Trust me, i've had tons of experience with this.
But from the sounds of it and what you said, it seems that she probably likes you. If i were you i'd go for it. Just be confident and dont come out to strong.

I think it would've been better if you SAID those things to her (women AND men have a nasty habit of misconstruing what is said in e-mails).
