I just hope this one doesn't suck like San Andreas did. Story was garbage. It needs a good story like GTA4.

If she's well developed, funny, and a total bad ass, on par with their other main protagonists like CJ and Tommy, I don't see why she wouldn't be effective and it would be something fresh. We've had a unique protagonist each game since GTA 3, it couldn't hurt.

GTA is the shit. My favorite being san andreas. However, I have played all of them including 1 and 2 with the overhead look. One of my most favorite game series. I did not really care for number 4, except for driving down a straight road and hitting a gas station or the glitchy swing at 100 and watching the ragdoll effect. To here about a GTA 5 is wonderful. Aint nothin like spendin an afternoon putting in cheat codes for guns and having a standoff with the army.

A female protagonist would be interesting, but I think it would take a lot of convincing for GTA fanboys. It'll be hard to surpass Niko in any case, I loved him.

I would love GTA Berlin GTA Mumbai GTA Lima etc, it couldn't hurt to change things up, especially since we've been there done that with L.A. and New York.

I’m excited for GTA V I wanted another GTA set in Los Santos. I hope Lazlow will return yet again. I liked him the most in GTA3. But in 4 he seemed like a prick and nowhere near as funny as he was in Chatterbox. I wonder what the timeline of the game is going to be. If it is set in San Andreas it would be cool to run into CJ and Sweet.

I liked San Andreas because we ran into past characters. Kent Paul, Claude, Maria, Paul Rosenburg, Catalina, Sal Leone. I’m excited for GTA V but I just hope they don’t forget the FUN! I liked the serious tone but it lacked waaay to much on the fun department. Missions like Stoaway for example.

Personally, i dont enjoy the GTA franchise so much, i get bored of it fast.

I borrowed GTA4 from a friend and gave it back the next day, because it was just so boring and bland, ive played it for like a good 10-20 minutes then i just lost interest and went back to playing Killzone 2....

TBH i honestly dont see whats so great about GTA, yea it's fun to run over people and other shit, but other than that, why is it so appealing? The story has remained pretty much the same, except set in a different location, different characters and other minor details.

The only GTA game i liked was GTA: San Andres... the other GTA's were just meh.... But idk.... lets see how this one turns out.
