God damn, how I loved Vice. Both it and San An had the best atmospheres of the series. And it got me into so many great 80's bands.

Don't really care where it's happening, I'll pick it up. GTA4 wasn't a complete disappointment; they just need to learn that we don't need a completely true to life experience.

GTA at it's best reveled in it's ridiculousness while paying nostalgic homage to era-centric pop culture genre. The design decision to embrace a more "serious face" in GT4 was a step in the wrong direction. THQ and Volition recognize this which is why their Saints Row series has been so successful.

The graphics are surprisingly good, it amazes me how games can look better and better on 6 year old consoles.

The introduction of animals is gonna be interesting lol.
They could add children like they did in Fallout and just make them invincible. It would certainly make the whole experience more realistic.

I've read some people think the main character is Tommy Vercetti because of the voice over.
I can't see him being the main character as he will be around 60.
He could be a leader of some sort that you get missions off I guess.
CJ would be in his 40s too so I don't think he would be a main character.
Claude would be only 10 years older so he could be a main character.

I personally think the protagonist will be someone completely new.

The massive mountain looks awesome, I assume it will be completely climbable.

Some people are saying there will be no Vegas style place because it wasn't in the trailer but I doubt they are gonna reveal everything in the first trailer.

It sucks that there is no release date but I guess (and I hope) they are gonna reveal the date when they know that it wont get delayed.
I'm thinking late 2012/early 2013 tho, I will be happily surprised if the game comes out earlier though.

Well hats off, they were right, it is in Los Santos, and part of the mountains. Mount Chillead looked incredible. Puppies? Planes? Updated graphics? No approximated release date?

I've been waiting for another game in San Andreas! This is mah dream come true. As long as this main character is good, this'll be the game of the decade for me.

It looks astonishing. Awesome. Amazing. The protagonist, while haven't been explored at all, won't sit well with me, though. Based on much of what he said, he seems to be a Niko-esque character, and I don't like that.
