This whole thing makes no sense, sort of like believing that a dude is his own dad, but talks to himself in space, then dies, then comes back, and flies up into the sky and disappears, and somehow we're all forgiven because of this. Yes, same sort of reasoning.

Okay, this thread's starting to get derailed here. I have to be honest, I didn't take the last sentence of the original post seriously, but I don't like that this is turning into an argument that won't get anything more than two users furious at one-another and resolve nothing.
Baiting users into arguments isn't allowed here, and harassing a user's beliefs isn't tolerated either. Just because you don't share the same ideas does not give you the right to mock them at every turn, regardless of whether or not you consider them rational or logical.
