go to that site and get the year on there (1994)
use year to open safe

Ok I saw the movie and clicked where the guy points but it just takes me back to a view of the stereo....

You all have got to be doing something wrong, you've got to click where the little plus sign was, it should reveal the safe. I just tried it again right now and it worked fine for me, as for Viridian Room here is the link. It's a little more difficult, but it's really fun to figure out, my fastest time is around 3 mins.

None at all, well at least in Crimson Room, Viridian room (link I posted) is a sequel to it, and you're in the next room. You use the cd case then, but there are quite a few items you don't use in viridian room. They're made to just throw you off, or probably used in the supposed prequel to the game.

Damn didn't see this till now, well the 6 chinese symbols, there's a puzzle behind them. I'll just give you all a few hints. . . Check the skeleton's hands, garbage bin, shelf, and blanket. Alot of the things you've got to do require you viewing the items, and then using another item while viewing it(ex. while viewing paper with hair, use the lighter and click on it) If you all just give up, just pm me, I'll give you a full walkthrough
