Help with an arcade game's name

I remember playing a cool fighting game at the arcades a few years ago. The battling arena's were sorta like DOA3's and it was set in old medithisthingisdisabled times. Everytime you beat an apponent his/her head would be put through a pike, and the whole game in general was pretty violent.
Please help!! If anyone might know wich game im talking about please tell me the name or any other info about it!!! i really need to know. smile
