I'm not sure why people re-upload these videos. You really are not helping the matter. I'm sure the kid isn't stupid enough to not alert the authorities about what happened.

All these videos do is ruin the reputation of the other people in the video.
Saying whether they deserve it or not is beyond me, but if your true goal is to help the victim, you've missed your target by a long shot.

Edit: The attackers facebook accounts and schools were found, and a few of them have already been arrested.

Reuploading the video is going to help those guys get caught. It's going to make sure that there is evidence against them. It's going to spread a message that this isn't acceptable. People are going to pray for the victim.

After watching the video I am utterly repulsed. All I want to do is bash those kid's faces in one by one. That poor kid. I don't care if I'm wrong but I hope they all fucking die. They deserve it. Fucking afterbirth scum. I hope they rot in hell.

I've witnessed similar situations unfortunately. A clique of gipsies for instance knocked out a random man because he was not one of them. I didn't just watch though, me and my friend lifted the guy up right after he was knocked out and cut short the situation. It's better to remain relatively anonymous between idiots like those in the clip however, they may want to avenge even if they knew it wouldn't be beneficial for them. Laying your anger upon a person could be one of the worst decisions in your life.
Negotiating skills, a little courage, common sense and some friends for back-up are all it takes to survive. Being cautious is not bad either. Having proper fighting skills can actually worsen the situation if you're ever to confront a reckless clique. At least they likely spared his life in the video; there are people actually dying for worse things all the time for all that, even if you can't see it. Vengeance isn't good for barely either side. Alerting authorities is always a good deed in a situation like that - as unselfish as it feels - just time it so that you won't cause another mess for yourself.

This kind of thing is precisely the reason why I am armed.

I'm sure most people already deem this unacceptable. Seeing as how quickly the situation was handled, I'm sure the victims appearance was enough evidence for the authoriteis to act.

There are ways to help victims without jeopardizing the overall safety of the perpetrators. Which is probably the only things these videos have done.

The people in the video ruined their own reputation by the seven of them beating up one kid, the video's just confirming that their crime actually occured.

I'm not promoting violence against them, but let's be real here, they don't deserve a good reputation and their rep is bad because of THEIR actions.

I have zero sympathy for their reputations, they're punk ass losers anyway...seven people to beat up one person...who I'd be willing to wager did nothing wrong, but was just considered "uncool" or "different" by them. Fighting should only occur in self defense.

I'm a Christian but have never quite wrapped my head around the ideal of letting God handle revenge. It might not be right and people claim its useless but you can't tell me that if this kid was your son or brother or even a friend or yours you wouldn't want a chance to even things up with these pussies.
