I agree with Casselman. RE has literally gone to shit since they ditched the "survival horror" aspect for the action thing. In my opinion the games Capcom should focus on as references to making a great RE game is the REmake and RE2. The clausterphobic scenery, eerie sounds, limited ammo and weaponry, and freaky monsters made for a damn fine game.

I also appreciate the strategy aspect in the REmake in regards to zombie killing. You could shoot a zombie down but if you didn't destroy the head or burn the corpse then the possibility of facing a crimson head was all too certain. The game gives you kerosene but not enough to burn all the zombies. This meant you had to keep certain zombies alive because you couldn't deal with it. Crimson head zombies are scary. They're fast as hell, strong as hell, and take a ton of ammo to finally knock down.

BTW, Slant Six is going to fuck up this new game just like they fucked up SOCOM. Mark my words.

I've completely lost faith in Operation Raccoon City. Now I'm just waiting for more details about Resi 6 to be announced at the Tokyo Games Show on the 15 th September.

I hope your not turning into one of those people that use the word gay over and over again as an insult.

I don't want to say "lower your expectations" or "lower your standards" but I just feel like some users on this forum fail to be satisfied with anything.
