Although for the people who lost their wives and husbands on 9/11, I feel for them badly....they lost someone special that day...and theres nothing anyone could have done about it....except Bush and Rumsfeld...they couldve saved so many lives if they acted sooner and didnt take it as a joke

i hope i fall in love too, it would be better to wake up everyday to look forward to being around someone.

Everyone is born with someone the exact opposite and someone exactly the same- Hopefully you meet both.

We all have a special someone out in the world, and if you're meant to fall in love your paths will cross. No matter how small- you could bump into each other. Whatever happens, never give up.

I've actually found "the one."

Twice.

The first one left me for an older guy (who in turn left her for a younger girl; Karma's a bitch) and I betrayed the second one (those who know the story know that what I did wasn't that big of a deal, but the whole experience ruined me and it sometimes looks like it ruined her). My love for the first one destroyed any possibilities of my second and third gf's being "the one", and my love for the last one destroyed the same possibilities with several girls (with more to come, probably).

My new way of thinking is that we each get a certain ammount of chances in life to be truly happy with someone, with that one true love.

I'm pretty sure that I've used up all of my chances.

ya all i gotta say is just be patient...i havent had a girlfriend yet...im only 15 though...i just want some action and ill worry about love when i get older.

I've found love (real love) twice, and lost both eventually... and despite what they say, it is not better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all... it hurts like hell

however, I agree that if love happens to find you(and I mean true love, not infatuation or lust), do whatever it takes to hold on to it, because it's a rare thing in this world

id love to help u outworld but i have trouble in the ladies department too. i guess being myself the pissed off rock n roll skater just isnt cutting it. ill have to be like the stero typical skater to get a girl. meaning wearing trucker hats and listen to crappy emo music and basically look like a poser. o well.

I also hate when people tell me to be confident, when you've been rejected and cheated on as many times as I have, there's absolutely nothing to be confident about, and its not like I can just gain confidence out of thin air. Love sucks, but for some strange reason, its the one thing I want, and dont have. I've been waiting for "the one" for three fuckin years, and Im seriously becoming impatient, you cant tell me wait for love to find me, either I'll find it, it'll come to me, or nothing will ever happen.

I still believe in love, even though I've gotten hurt many times before. I've been cheated on before as well. My new boyfriend is making a very bad impression by moving too fast. But I'm not giving up hope at all, because I'm one of those people who hates to be alone.

Alot of people here are being down on themselves. Live life. Don't wait around getting all depressed. Love isn't everything (I haven't experienced it, so my view could change). Just have a ball. You only have one life.

Yeah, I agree that love is overrated. While you have it it's nice, but it can be a lot of pain and confusion getting there, and can also be painful/confusing/expensive while you have it.

Since this kind of seemed out-of-place, I just felt the need to say that, in context, those passages don't contradict each other. See, jealousy, as it's used in the 1 Corinthians passage, is self-concern, while jealousy, as it's used in the Exodus passage, is a concern for others.
