I have been trying to find love for quite some time now. Sad to say, I have never had a girlfriend, but maybe that is a good thing. I haven't had the chance to screw up and get a girl pregnant or anything. So, I will sit and wait for love to find me. Dude, if I'm not going to lose hope, you shouldn't either. Ha! I'm the only chick on the thread. You have male viewpoints... and then mine.

First of all, your looks aren't everything. Sure, girls are automatically attracted to the handsomest guys they see. However, lots of girls have learned (the hard way) that lots of times, the hot guys are full of themselves and can be real snobs. If you're not the best looking guy in the world, don't sweat it. It doesn't mean you'll get an ugly girl at all. You just have to work hard to open up and let a girl see who you are, and then they'll love you for who you are instead of what you look like.

Second, if you rush into relationship, 8 times out of 10 it's not a good one. (I'm one to talk, lol) It's best to make friends with a girl, get to know them well, and then tentatively see if she wants to take it further. Not necessarily sex, but just a relationship, which if I'm not mistaken, is just what you need right now. A relationship. Affection.

Lastly, someone said something about enjoying other things before getting a girlfriend. He's probably right. Girlfriends can tend to tie you down sometimes, and it's your decision what you want to do with your life before you eventally decide to settle down.

Not to try to boost my posts in my "find your match" thread, but starting there might be a good place for you to get to know someone that has stuff in common with you. Tgrant has already found someone in this manner, so it could possibly help you. And it is best though to wait..love will find you, like that guy said in an earlier post. Try to be yourself, if a girl honestly loves you, it should be for who you are, and not who your trying to be.
