Eat one ethnicity of food for the rest of your life, what would it be? I am a huge fan of Mexican, Italian and Chinese food. Even though i live in the u.s. I don't consider "american" food, ie hamburgers, hot dogs and steak and potatoes to be among my favorites. It's a very hard choice, but i would go with Mexican. Chips, salsa, nachos, burritos and tacos ftw

I'd hate to deprive myself of so much choice, but my favourite would have to be Indian food, which has enough diversity within itself to keep me going for a while.
I'd miss the Szechuan tofu from the Chinese down the road, though.

Mediterranean (Turkish, Greek, Armenian), as I've switched to that most of my recent years anyway. Shish-kebobs, gyros, souvlakis, ground lamb kebobs, salads with feta cheese, rice, hummus, yogurt, eggplant dishes, etc.. Healthy and delicious.
My family comes from that region too so it makes it that much better.

Yes! Mediterranean food is the bees knees. Like you said delicious and nutritious! High in protein and vitamins.

Hamburgers did originate in Germany, that's why i put quotations around American. To my knowledge there is no food that originated from the united states. All of our food origins are imports, just like our people. Except for native American fare, whatever that may consist of !

Laos/Vietnamese/Thai all have similar foods, so I'd go with one of those

What is 'soul' food? Can you tell me where Soul (not Seoul) is on a map? Or is it like "food" for the soul (i.e. fine literature).

Italian because I love pizza and spaghetti.

Soul food is what black people eat in the hood. Its food for the soul. Barbeque ribs, chitlins, collard greens, pigs feet. Just watch the Friday movie series lol.

I'm sure it has a different meaning to everyone. Arguably you could say it's basically food you were raised on, or the food you enjoy the most. The food that just warms your soul, and makes you feel happy.
For me that was boiled & mashed potatoes, corn, homemade bread, gravy, certain fried meats, roast/brisket ect, ect. Occasional variants of green beans, peas, mac & cheese...The real hearty stuff. But you can also just say that's Virginian heritage, lol.
