Yeah, I also enjoyed it a lot. It was a fantastic trip down memory lane. Not necessarily any new info., but great stuff to learn your MK history by. Johnny Cage being designed after Jeanne Claude van Damme is even funnier with visuals.
I never knew that so much inspiration for mK came from Kung Fu flicks. Even funnier is that Rayden came from "Big Trouble In Little China" Which I just saw a few months ago. That movie is hilarious and the electrical/thunder guy totally reminded me of Rayden when I saw it (though Rayden's a bit nicer to look at in the face ^.^)
Overall, the show was fantastic. So much MK in just half an hour, Yum! They showed a little bit about MKD at the end, but it was all stuff that we've all seen before. Just enough to get the hype up and the blood going. I definitely can't wait to see how MKD goes down, and I look forward, even more, to MK7. |
I know, it was a great show. I was surprized to learn that the project started out trying to be a Jeanne Claude van Damme game. Also I was surprized to learn that most of the actors for the first game where friends of Boon & Tobias. I was a little disapointed though that it mostly focused on the origianl MK, and the cotroversy, the last 8-10 mins they went through the other games. It certainly wasn't enough time to go through the whole series with everything.
