Bad. Mortal Kombat will probably cease to exist after Mortal Kombat Deception and the Midway Treasures. It'll become Power Rangers Attack and Big Bad Beetleborgs and the such franchise. The Viacom company hasn't really had ANYTHING good come out for them.

perhaps Ed Boon and the rest of the MK team will quit and start their own company or join John Tobias in Studio Gigante. of course the biggest problem would be obtaining ownership of the MK trademark.

No Way, Even if Midway decideds to end the MK series, they will almost certainly not sell it. They will sit on it and do nothing with it.

If MK ceases to exist after MKD then the game will end dumb because unless they were planing on ending the game this time its gonna be a crappy ending becuz it will be half assed or there won;t be one STUPID VIACOM

i don't think this will be the last MK game.
i would really like to see some more mythologies kind of games. Perhaps something like MKM:Sub-Zero but with Raiden the main character. i personally loved MKM:Sub-Zero and if the same team did the new game, i bet it'd be good. that's not very likely thouh, seeing as how John Tobias isn't with Midway anymore.

I suppose they'd be stupid to drop MK, since it's a good money maker, and they need more of those. I honestly think they make good games right now, they just need more tv advertisements. A PSI:Ops commercial, Slugfest, etc..
