Places I've been:

Portugal (I was born here so this is kinda obvious)
England (London, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Birmingham, and other places I can't recall)
France (Nimes, Avignon, Lourdes, Morzine, Toulouse, Lyon, Annecy and some town on Lac Leman which I've forgotten its name - that's right, I've gone to France and never been to Paris lol)
Spain (Most of Galicia, Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, Benicassim, Lleyda, Tenerife, Granada, Mallorca and other places)
Switzerland (Geneve, Montreux - I've paid 50 euros for 9 drinks in a coffee shop there. I'm never going back...)
Italy (Aosta, drove by Torino but haven't actually visited it)

Having never been outside of Europe here are the places I would like to visit some day (alphabetically not to hurt anyone's feelings lol):

Australia
Cabo Verde (I forgot the English name)
Czech Republic
Egypt
Japan
USA (mainly New York)

And that's pretty much what I can think of right now...

We pay for a drink about 7 euros. Everything became more expensive since the Euro came out. Some Peaple made the funny word "Teuro" (Teuer means in german expensive)

Cabo Verde = Cape Verde smile

Thanks for the correction on Cape Verde ;)
It was the same here with the Euro everything got more expensive because people took advantage. An example is the price of an expresso, which used to be 90 Escudos (Escudo was our old coin before the Euro) and some places thought that 45 Cents (which would be the same price since 1 Cent = 2 Escudos - approximately it's actually 2.00482 Escudos) would be too cheap so they made it 60 Cents which is 120 Escudos or more, which may not seem expensive but it's a big raise for something as small as an expresso. It was that way with prices for everything so life became more and more expensive with the Euro...

Canada (once)

I'd like to visit:

As for where I'd like to live, I really don't know. I want to see more of the world before I decide. I know I don't want to live here in Jersey for the rest of my life (nothing against Jersey, but those who live here can understand why).

It's funny that so many people think this is a nice country, everybody who lives here can't wait to bugger off to Aussie, the UK, or the US. I'll never understand why though.

New Zealand had some problems in the past with unemployment but I think Helen Clark was a good choise and solved the problem. The economy and the tourism are also good now.
And you know everyone soemone misses something which he does not have.
