It was only the end for one of the Characters and you know which one that is, not the series which is in development although i'm not sure if it's for current systems, it may be for PS3 Xbox2 etc.

As for the topic at hand, i would like to believe that free will is my own choosing i have yet to come across anything to suggest other wise, although there is one choice that no one has free will over and that's death, we will all die eventually but you never know when and how therefore maybe free will is an illusion and our lives pre-determined and the choices we make just lead us to this point maybe there is a design, damn this is getting to much like Final Destination .

Yes but free-will only goes so far until the gov't steps in...look what they are doing now!! Right now they are controlling what u play and trying to control what u play!!! Is that Free will??If it is then crucify me cuz i sure as wont be going for it...The movies u go see, the Cds u listen too, the TV that u watch, they do this and they let it go on for so long and im tired of it...

not really an illusion, but the people who do believe they are truly free are disillusioned, everywhere you go some moron will more than likely be trying to control you and the area, take the american south for instance, it is practically governed by old "logic" and the kkk. And in the northern states and most of canada you are in a more "liberal" area, people try to govern your lives everywhere, it is inevitable.

Free will is not an illusion it is real, you are living it right now. I'm not patriotic or anything but I feel that America is one of the only nations that allow people to make decisions for themselves.

You could choose what you want to be, how you live your life, who you marry, who you work for. It's all up to you. People could complain about censorship and media, but it is your choice to listen in, it is your choice to complain, if free will was an illusion, then we would all be in an army right now fighting for what you don't believe in. This country lets you vote and choose who you want to run your state, and country. Whoever said this place was a Theocracy, you are indeed wrong. Our enemies are Theocratics and for that they kill innocents in their name of their gods because they are different.

It took many other people's lives to protect and earn these freedoms, The Revolutionary War, and The Civil War were battles that determined the way we lived. You are a free person, it is up to you to go out there and relize for yourself that you are free, that is a lesson I learned a long time ago and I am a very happy person because of it.

All this stuff about the goverment controling public opinion, free will and individual thinking is bringing me back to MGS2:Sons of Liberty. I think it showed the best view of the govt.
