Yes, I've played this game before. To me, it's one of the worst fighting games I've ever played.

Agreed. Btw did you notice that the blode chick (roxie I think is her name) looks a lot like Uma Thurman?

I heard this game can't be bought anymore, since the characters chanted something on one stage, so it was banned because of religious reasons.
Yes, it's quite a collector's item now. There were sayings from the Koran in one of the stage's background music, which, because of our ignorance of Islam, caused it to be pulled from shelves.
Apprently, Muslim = terrorism to most idiots, but I'm not discussing that any further.
I picked up my copy at Best Buy shortly after it was discontinued. I guess BB was getting rid of their stock.

Yeah, I made the mistake of buying it. The game itself sucked hard but the lighting affects and some of the music was pretty cool. Other than that it was garbage. And if I recall correctly, they took it off the shelves because one of the characters was Muslim.

I played a demo of that game. It's terrible.I need to add this game too the "insults to fighting games list".

It was pretty bad overall.
The hit sounds were terrible
the juggles were really ugly
the pan around at the end of a match got old.
And The walking animations were pathetic.
It had some cool stuff though.
A lot of the moves in the game were cool.
I like the Karate guy, the muay Tai fighter, and the Bruce lee look alike the most.
The fighters had a pretty good number of moves and combos, like in VF2.
There were dodges and reversals
I like the running in any direction
The graphics were amazing
I actually don't really hate it. They have it at my local video store, and I rent it every once in a while.
I think it had a lot of potential, but it crapped out at the end. I don't know why really, maybe it was the fault of a stiff deadline.

I would give a remake a chance, if they ever do it.
They were on the right track with the fight engine.
They were leaning more towards the style of games like VF, and tekken.
If they do it right, it would rock.
The first things I would change in that game are
in no particular order.
The walk animation, make it more like in MKDA, or like Jan lee in DOA3 after he knocks you down.
They had it with the Bruce lee looking guy, I think his name is Reiji.
After a flying kick, if you hold back, he goes into the "mist step" which looks like what Jan lee does in DOA3.
They need to do more of that and stay away for the tippitoe animation they had.
Next the Juggle bounce animation would need to be smoother.
The sound effects would need to sound more realistic, or more like in MK.
The Phssss
and the Thwam sounds are great.
I would take out the 2 play styles, and just have one big one with all the moves available.
Then I would change the Run animation and instead of making the character run in any direction like in an adventure game, I would have them always face the opponent, and have them jog around, like a boxer would.
There are a ton of other things I would add, but those are the basic ones I would change right off the bat.

EEEuh...the audio WAS indeed horrible....they had that mouse trap sound whenever you hit someone...:-\
The characters and storyline were very lame in my opinion. The fighting was very chunky and I despised that matrix rip-off crap when someone loses...
