Well I really don't know what to say. Love makes you do foolish things and hurts real bad when you get the short end of the stick. Please just go and get a HIV test as soon as you can. I know it's extremely frightening but you will need to get it done sooner or later and the sooner you find out the sooner it will all be clear. If you turn out to be negative, You are one lucky person and that will teach you never to do that again. But if the worst happens, just take it one day at a time. And find out how to control the virus so it doesn't do much harm to you in the short term. I'm sorry these words are a bit cold but I can't find another way to put this.

get it done asap..i kinda felt the same way before i got my test/tests done. when i was younger i had alot of unprotected sex w/ many people.. i was a real dumb ass... well i stopped having sex for awhile, because i started thinking.. what if?? this what if lasted 2 years.. i was frighted,u never know if u do or dont have it..luckly i am aids/hiv free. huge burden off my back,now i always use comdoms and what not.. trust no 1!!
dont waste any more time just get it done.. hopefully ur fine.. but if (pray to god no) u do have hiv/aids its best to know now while u can slow the process, then let it get out of hand..

Is there any reason to think this guy had HIV in the first place? I mean, it's not everyone that has HIV (not around here anyway).

Anyway, there's a valuable lesson to be learned from all this: don't be stupid, use protection. Make sure all of your friends, young & old, learn that as well.

I am assuming your a female. It is a better thing to know and a better thing that you will do for society and as a person in our society to get tested. Str8 Gay or a little of both you should get tested regularly. Your circumstance is all too common and especially in ladies. That feeling of guilt that isn't your fault. As an earlier post stated "trust no 1" always be prepared and be protected. GO get tested!! It is better for you to know than to play the "ignorance" card. You know the "If I don't know it doesn't matter" card. If you get tested and you are positive you are positive ealy and can begin educating yourself and keeping yourself healthy for the future. If you don' get tested you run the risk of spreading. It is emotionally hard to get tested, but at the end you'll be happy you did and have more self respect that you did it and respect yourself as a responsible member of the sexually active culture we live in. The more you get tested the easier it is.

Like you said..The guy has stopped talking to you. Makes sense now doesn't it? You probably don't even see him anymore and it's probably because he's avoiding you. By the way, not to scare you but I hope you aren't being tested for HIV, but for STDs too. They may not be as bad as AIDS but it would still suck to have them. The important thing is to know as soon as possible, so if (God forbid) you test positive you can get treatment ASAP.

I would have to disagree with that. I think it's simply by instinct that it's more satisfying for the guy if he cums in the girl. After all, sex is by its very nature an instinctive behavior. The reason it feels good is because we're SUPPOSED to do it by nature, and by the same token, nature intended for the guy to cum in the girl.

Of course, that's just my theory, I wouldn't know since I haven't had sex yet.

I don't want to sound cold, but there isn't any reason why anybody should be at risk for HIV. If people would just respect their bodies and not put themselves in such a position where they're vulnerable to pregnancy/HIV, not only would they be safer, but HIV will eventually be eliminated for future generations. I would tell you to use protection next time, but I couldn't do that in good conscience. It's not foolproof, for HIV or for pregnancy. People may hand condoms to you saying "preserve yourself," but the risk is still very much there.

But I hope everything turns out okay. Bad choices shouldn't ever result in AIDS, but they often do. But if worse comes to worse(I pray it doesn't), then it might be best to promote abstinance to those who don't know any better with the time you have left.

Yeah, abstinence is the best way to avoid STD's of any kind, including HIV, and coincidently, pregnancy as well.

Plus, if you practice abstinence and you can find a guy who'll practice it with you (or maybe even just play along), then you know you're in good company.

hey thanks everyone for the kind words and such... This morning I guess it was eating at me.. See I consider sex a very serious thing, a true symbol of love, I mean yes I was the first to tell him i loved him, but he also told me he loved me too, he also knew that he was the first to penitrate me, I guess when you spend alot of your life wishing to be loved and someone finally gives that to you, Yah just want to make them happy. I'm old enough and I think smart enough to know better (26),...it really felt good that night sitting on the couch in the dark holding each other, him touching me and telling me how good I smelled and how beautiful i was... it was a hook line a stinker line as I now realize... I mean i guess, even if I get tested for std's and everything is fine, there will still be that pain and lonelyness agian... because ...
