For me personally, race/ethnicity is ultimately not an issue. What ultimately matters to me is the woman's personality. Having said that, I'm aware there are certain characteristics, both good and bad, whether stereotypical or not that are attributed to people of different racial/ethnic groups. For people who grow up seeing people of certain groups largely exhibit negative characteristics, I can see how it is hard for some to not see past that.

I grew up in a racially-mixed environment but mainly whites and blacks with some Asians, Latinos, etc. I can find myself attracted to women of different racial/ethnic groups (including mixed-race women) though a lot of women I find myself attracted to are usually white women.

As someone said above, everyone has his/her own preferences. Be open to all sorts of good possibilities.

I don't understand all the hate. Everyday tons of black gangs kill white people because they feel white people think they are better then them. At the same time white people think all black people are uneducated and violent and attack and kill them because they think they are all gang bangers. After carefully analyzing the issue from the last thread, I've managed to sort out my issue.
That really left a bad taste, nagging me since my unintentionally distasteful view. I sincerely regret offending anyone. Since then, I've noticed an increase of lighter skinned Africans in TV ads, I had no intention of causing this.

To recall: I apparently find most Black women visually repulsive, however if I was a woman or gay, I find Black men more attractive.

These are various things I find unattractive, that seem amplified in Black women:
Man jaws.
skin vs teeth contrast. I have a thing against smiling/teeth on anybody. Blinding white wall.
Afro I'm not a fan of afros on anybody either.
Animal print clothing.
Skin vs nipple contrast.

A lot of Black chicks have nice legs, though.

In GTA V, Franklin's ex Tanisha is an example of what would be attractive to me, but I fear I'll be called racist because she looks too white/mixed, with straight hair, and balanced features.



As for other skin contrast issues, I don't like candycanes...

I think any race can be good looking. To the OP, I get what you mean but a better way to say it MIGHT be that, in your own experience, you have not met or seen very many attractive black women.
