So I've been in #mortalkombat for something like ten years or more, and I don't remember if our first message board had a 'funny quotations*' thread, but this BBS has been up for, like, what, eight years?

I've decided this is the place where anyone can post entertaining quotations* from the #mortalkombat IRC chatroom room.

If you don't know how to connect:

1) Go to the 'community' bar above and click on 'IRC network.' Further instructions are provided for launching the MKO java chat or downloading chat programs (like mIRC). [You can also ask questions in the stickied chat thread and play the game by signing up for the fight league].

*When I was in high school, I had an English teacher whose pet peeve was when people would use 'quote' as a noun instead of 'quotation.' While I know that it really is a petty thing because language evolves and 'quote' is used as the noun nowadays and Steven Fry etc, but it stuck with me. Kind of like how people will write "the 80's" instead of "the '80s."
