MKO MUGEN project! Happy Halloween! Special Halloween palettes

Yo, I'm doing this until Bihno let's me know if he wants to participate in MK vs DC MUGEN, or if I can use his sprite style. So basically, here's how it works, I'll put in charcters rounded off to the nearest tenth by the end of the 10th day. TO give me an idea of how to make you, post a sprite of yourself. If you're not good at sprite editing, go here. Also, list what kind of moves you would want, or how you would like your character to feel, from a slow/bulky feel, to a light/speedy feel. This will not affect MK vs DCU!!! Until I get confirmation regarding Bihno's position in MK vs DCU MUGEN this as a side project . If you don't have M.U.G.E.N, go here Ugh, it hadn't occured to me how much work this would be (stupid I know) and with school starting next week, I can't do this all alone. If anyone wants to help, just post "HELPER (insert talent here)" I'll mainly need help with spriting and backgrounds. I can do coding on my own.

- sprite of your character
- How you want your character to play
- Up to 3 specials
- Up to 3 supers
- Up to 3 Hypers

Yeah, I'm actually pretty good at it. But, I guess since he's not gonna reply (most likely) I'll just focus on this, c'moon SOMEONE must want to be in!

Wait, I'm a bit confused, so this is like MKO users as the characters in this proposed game and we're supposed to create ourselves from that link you gave us? I looked at the images in that link and they're all pretty awful. I'm not sure what exactly is gained from the site you linked. Unless I'm somehow missing what we're really supposed to be looking at.

No, The sprites won't actually look like that. It's just so that if you can't edit sprites for what you want to look like, just use that. I'll make the sprites myself.

MUGEN is a program that allows you to create, download and play fighting games on your computer. I have like eight MUGEN games. MvC2, the fan made 3, Street fighter 2, 2, and four of my own created MUGEN games

no, you download Mugen, add the characters, backgrounds and music you want in it, and play. Characters and stages are made by people online, but you can make your own characters. You can download nearly every character known to video games and TV. Like Ryu, Sub-Zero, Peter Griffin, Spiderman, Batman etc.

Hey SubMan799. I've tried working with mugen before but at one point couldn't find any documentation on how to actually go about putting in characters, stages and music into mugen that I created, in the respect that I might have to meet certain requirements(such as actually drawing stages and characters in a painting program or modifying existing sprites), instead of just adding already made sprites, and backgrounds you can find online. I tried asking on various forums about how I would go about doing this, but either never got a response or wasn't given a clear answer. I mean unless I missed where they said "okay when you make your own sprites, they have to be "X" width and height and have to meet such and such requirements" in the docs that came with mugen, then it wasn't covered.

I probably am going to use the Mortal Kombat 1 sprites since I want that photo realistic look for the game I plan to make. Do you think it would be highly time consuming if I was to modify each sprite, in order to give my character the look I want? Say for example if I changed the facial features of Kung Lao and added another garment on him? I'm wondering if this would really work at all, because the sprites on sites like mortal kombat warehouse are quite small and I think it would be hard to modify them. Correct me if I"m wrong by the way.

1. Those animations are from Maggo, and are ripped from MK: Unchained for the PSP. If you look in the Fan Submission forum, you'll find his thread.

2.Figher factory is what actually ALLOWS you to make characters. I could give you an in depth tutorial on how to do EVERYTHING, but here's

Alright, well, for sprites, I'm not on my home comp, so I'll get my friend who has some of my stuff to send them over. Anyway, I'm aiming for non-MK sprites, I suppose they are SF-ish.

And for special moves, no diagonal projectiles, no permanent changestates (thats when you're sprites completely change until changed back basically a transformation). And no homing projectiles, those are the things I can't do. Also, if you want a specific effect for when you do a move, tell me. If not, I'm leaving it to my better judgement. Oh and mark it with an SM for Super move S for special, or HM for hyper move.
