Huh! I listened to it and he didn't sound bad at all. I think his voice may need to be a bit stronger, but that was just one song I listened to. His voice might be friggin awesome if he was singing "Welcome to the jungle" I dunno. I say go fir it and choose a good song that works best with his voice. NO "Beat it" or "She bangs" please!wink

Its only because you've made little remarks to shit I've said in the past. For Example. In one thread a while ago I remember posting something. And someone posted something similar to me and then you were like "Considering these two statements come from the two people I most hate on this site. I'm going to say what I have to say even though it may be defending one."

Heh, Well if I can convince a friend to go with me I'll be trying out. Heh, I agree if I sang a song like the Christmas solo, I don't stand a chance. That was over two years ago when I used to be in High School. Back then you sang songs where you don't really put a lot of "umph" into them. I can sing a lot more powerful then that, and will be singing a more powerful song at the tryouts, if anyway I convince a friend to go with me. I can sing better then that solo, if I get time, maybe I'll upload a newer song.

Honestly, if you go with a christmas song, you won't go far. You need to sing a kinda "popular" song but not an easy one. You have a pretty good singing voice. Imo, you can sing almost anything.
Why don't you Try "more than words" from extreme.

Yeah Yeah.. I won't be singing that, that song just happens to be the only thing I have recorded of me ever singing, other then when I was the lead in a muscial, I won't be putting that online tongue

I say go for it Scott like most of said already there's nothing to loose, a friend of mine went for the last UK version, he didn't get through but had a amazing time, just dont take anything the judges say to heart and you'll be ok smile.
