I really never gave a flying fuck about Marvel vs Capcom.

What i really wish comes true is Capcom vs Snk 3... that, would make me a happy man. I still regard Capcom vs Snk Millenium Fight 2000 for my Dreamcast, the best vs fighting game ever created in all existence.

The only thing weirder than the wishlist that's showing up in this thread is the list of characters that are bound to show up. If you ask me, I'd much rather that it wasn't cartoon-inspired versions of characters from twenty years ago. How about a little progress? A little forward movement, eh?

They probably will though. Lots of weird tastes in the gamers, and I think the X-Men were one of the more popular (recently cancelled) manga sets in Japan, so that might count for something. Wolverine probably wanted to use the carpool lane, so he had to bring some lameasses with him, too.

Who knows if they'll even try to be contemporary, though.
Shuma-Gorath wasn't exactly top of the pops. If the number of characters is really as phenomenal as they claim, hopefully there'll be a good mix of creepy obsessive fetish characters, contemporary relevant characters, and maybe some more fighters, too.

not a big fan of Marvel, but I do love me some Capcom fighting games. Especially the vs. series. Capcom needs some more variety in it's roster. Leon, Dante, Arthur, Saki, Zero, Pheonix Wright (sp?) a Monster Hutner rep, and Viewtiful Joe would be great in this game.

I just really hope the Marvel Characters arent all the ones that are REALLY popular right now. In the past capcom ROCKED at grabbing obscure characters (Both marvel and capcom) and making them really cool for their games! shuma Gorath (or however the fuck u spell it) and Blackheart are mostly famous b/c of the games!

On the Capcom side I have hopes for Dante, a Resident Evil chatacter, and hopefully a Dino Crisis one!!! I was also gonna say Bayonetta but shes not Capcoms...
