Hey, i just want to weigh in here because i felt it necessary to be a part of the 'kiss and make up' healing process. This (k)ommunity means a lot to me because i use only one other forum on a regular basis, and this one was first. I remember especially when i first started reading these forums i didn't always agree with Icebaby at all but i respect the hell out of her and i still do.

I'm finding it hard to keep up with the literal explosion of reactions since June 2nd, and i too was more than a little surprised to find negative feedback so soon.
When it came to that thread though, i had a few small gripes and thought it would be the appropriate place to share them, keeping in perspective that nothing is concrete yet and definitely not letting the small criticism outweigh the huge amount of awesome this game has to offer. When it came to 'that' argument i skipped past most of it, because what started as a difference of opinion and quickly devolved into arguing for the sake of arguing, and i want you all involved to know that it does happen sometimes it can't be helped and this taking a step back from it is nice that you made the effort to do so when so many others wouldn't have bothered trying to make peace again.

I've been a 'true' fan of MK since Deadly Alliance (although i had played earlier games) and i'm very excited about MKX so much. It's about digesting the info so far and eagerly anticipating the following reveals.

I don't see why people's negativity gets you so angry. I cannot believe the way this community acts about people complaining about anything. Most people on this forum are diehard MK fans, and are probably just as invested in the series as anyone else. If I'm not happy with something then I feel like I should be able to vent about it on a MK forum without needless hatred flung at me.

These people posting aren't trolls for the most part. They're concerned consumers, and ultimately what they really want is a good MKX game. I've seen people met with downright meanness from a lot of people on this forum and it's shameful.

If people's opinions on a product affect you so deeply then you really should reflect on yourself. Most complaints at this point that I've seen are valid, and concern me as well. I also don't want an Injustice clone, I also would like to see my favorite old characters (all of MK-MK4) return.

People on both sides need to chill out.

Sounds like this is a lot of users first time being on this site while a new MK game comes out. You'll get used to it, it won't be the last time it happens believe me. You just sit back and laugh at the reactions and petty arguments that arise. The worst was when that Baraka vs Mileena CGI fight randomly came out of nowhere that announced MK Deception, made me feel sorry for so many people here, there was such a shit storm after that for no reason.
