Restarted? As in you shut it down? Or unplugged it? Be more specific.

Restarting a computer is an option...

Shut Down = The computer goes off..thats it...black screen...

Unpluging it has no point to anything I don't think...

Restarting it kinda shuts it down but the it comes right back up afterwards...

Either way he didn't need to backup the files.

It said restared, which could be restarted. Even if he restored his comp, the files didn't need to be backuped.

i did system recovery and i don't know what to access the files that i have backed up i hope that makes it more clear

Firesnake, there are two options. If you picked the option to Destory everything and making youre computer go back to the original Factory shipped state, it's too late, you lost everything for sure...

If you picked the restore option of where you will save youre files, then you wont loose anything. It even saves youre favorites on internet explorer or Firefox or whatever.

I'm afraid if you picked the later, youre information is all gone...sorry..
