No, I don't think it's anything nearly that complicated.
The bar has just been significantly lowered, is all. Significantly.

That's an awesome avatar you got there.

Okay. Well, I'm just trying to help you get DPs, man.
Personally, it's not really my thing, but if you're that keen for some serious DP action... Who am I to judge?

Mick, I know we haven't always seen eye to eye but, I appreciate your compassionate attempt to help encourage more DP's in the MKO community. Specifically by educating new members on the in's-and-out's of DP's, not only will you make the experience more worthwhile to a new member receiving a DP, but you help create an environment that promotes more DP's amongst some of the more veteran members (and I think we can all agree that there's plenty of vet's frequenting this site that could use several DP's.)
So in essence...DP's now, DP's tomorrow, DP's forever!

Thanks. I just think it's important everyone knows how deep DPs can get. Exhausting, too, depending on how you go about receiving one. A lot of newbies can be very intimidated and confused by DPs. They aren't quite sure what to make of a DP when they first hear about them, or see one. Seeing DPs when you first get to MKO can be a very shocking experience! Alleviating these concerns is vital for anyone who is going to successfuly obtain a DP, or indeed, many DPs. I might not agree with this rabid new pursuit of DPs or how freely DPs are being given by certain people, but it only makes the job hard if I don't keep people informed. DPs need to remain smooth, even if they aren't protected.

Dragon points and ranks are cool and all but as long as you have fun here that is all that matters. I have been here sense MK5.org and I am still a mortal, but hey i also still have fun so it is all good

I agree, it's all about having fun for me too and all even though i am new here. i like it, its pretty fun kinda like facebook but not because you are keeping track of whats been updated or is new. also facebook lets you add friends and family. but thats not important to me because keeping track of my favorite games is better than being on facebook(in my oppinion) Mortal Kombat is the funnest fighting game i ever played and i love it!!!!! i also love the blood effects in...well..all the mortal kombat series. even though i got YLOD on my PS3 system i still wana get it fixed and buy MK9 so i can have Kratos from god of war3. MORTAL KOMBAT RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(sorry about that i was bored)
