I picked this album up today and I must say I was blown away. I must admit after Dave's death I didn't think they would sound the same but this new guy sounds so much like Dave it's spooky. Thw whole cd is quality and there are no skip songs meaning songs you don't like. I bought it at best buy for seven dollars. It was a seven dollars well spent hell if I would have had to pay fifteen it would have still been worth it. Anyone that has gotten this album please share your thoughts

If it's only 7 bones at my Best Buy I'll swoop one. The last album was great, and I was shocked to find out they were making a new cd with a new singer, and now that it's out and I hear the single on the radio, I must admit I like it as well.

I get paid tomorrow, so I'll buy the new Drowning Pool CD as soon as I put my paycheck in the bank. I saw Drowning Pool this past Friday with Unearth, Hatebreed, and DamagePlan. I actually saw Stevie Benton and C.J. Pierce walking around the venue and got my ticket stub autographed by them, and gave that to my dad, because he's a big Drowning Pool fan.
I was crazy about Drowning Pool back in the day when Dave was still alive. That band is even from my homestate. I was thinking of joining the military so I could get out of this state because I hated it, until I first heard Drowning Pool. That made me realize that Texas did have some bad-ass metal, whether it was underground or not. I was totally shocked when I heard the news that Dave had passed away. To me, it felt just like the day Kurt Cobain died.
I remember I was watching the local evening news, and then the local entertainment section came on and announced that Tommy Lee was added to the Main Stage line-up for Ozzfest 2002. I was going to the second-to-last show on that tour (San Antonio and Dallas were the last two stops on Ozzfest 2002). At first, I was all like, what's going on? Then suddenly, I heard that the reason for Tommy Lee being added to Ozzfest 2002 was to replace Drowning Pool, whose lead singer, Dave Williams was found dead on the tour bus. At that point, I felt so sad that I eventually had no more tears left to cry. What sucked even more was the fact that Drowning Pool had to miss the shows in their own homestate. C.J. Pierce made up for that when he joined Ill Nino for the last song on their set at Ozzfest 2002; when it came to San Antonio, at least. I think their new lead singer is cool, but that doesn't change the fact that I STILL miss Dave Williams to this day!

Wait, so the new dude sounds like the old dude. Cool. I was like damn Sinner is bad ass album and as soon as I really liked it the lead singer croaked. So now at least I'll check out DP's new album.
