You're looking at the wrong franchise, then. Hasn't been scary for quite a few years, not sure why you'd keep hoping.


The trailer is impressive, but it makes me want to watch a movie not play a game.

Provided I'm employed, I'll be getting the Silent Hill Collection when it arrives.

Okay, so afte a Tinychat session with some good 'ol MKO chaps, like Dibula, I was told to play Resident Evil.

So, I played number 2 on the N64, and it was pretty sweet. I damn near beat it in one sitting.

Anyway, it was creepy as hell, and the mood was just right. So, I figured I would now play my untouched copy of RE4, and I'm like...

1: It's not "creepy" or "moody". It's sole tactic is the jump scare, which I dislike.

2: So... I know this is more common for Japanese games, but... We just decided to stop with zombies and move on to "This is what the playable character did with his life"... Which in this case is somehow end up in the exact same situation, but in Europe...

Or, like in RE5, ended up fighting a crazy African cult.

So, after watching the trailer for RE:ORC that had gameplay and the CG trailer...

I think this one will be creepy and moody again. It looks just as scary as 2. It looks extremely fun, and it might be the first RE game I actually buy.

Also, they even matched the scenes from 2 perfectly, they feel just right. I think they even had the same gas station in the background... Taxago I believe?...

RE: Revelations on 3Ds is meant to be quite a nice mix of old school and new school Resi.

As for this game. That trailer was fun to watch. Too much "SHIT" though.

But the game is built around playing as assholes. Assholes on the baddy's side.

Already I dont want to play as the game purely on that.

This game is getting DESTROYED when ti comes out, looks like its tightened up alot. I still don't like the spray on the assault rifles though.

Edit for wrong date: I didn't realize this was coming out so soon, March 20th this is a day one buy for me.

Online looks so great, especially the variety from what we've seen, escort missions, survival, all the good stuff, much better than Resident Evil 5 just based off the trailer(though RE5's online is still fun to me).

Unless im missing something, its March 20th in North America and 23rd in UK. the "12" was for the year.
