Cool CGI trailer but...no gameplay. Slant Six has to do a LOT to prove to me that this isn't going to be another SOCOM: Confrontation and this isn't doing anything for me.

Meh it looks alright but resident evil died ALOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago and really this is just call of duty: resident evil edition. Ohhh you can kill off main characters ... T_T So what! And if Dead Island told me anything its that a game can have the best trailer ever and it can still suck.

When exactly did it die? I don't ever recall RE being dead...but you could make the argument that Capcom lost touch with the roots of the franchise. Also, I'm not sure COD is an adequate comparison with this game. Basically it looks like SOCOM: Confrontation (which Slant Sucks...er Slant Six made) but with Resident Evil styled characters and new gameplay additions.

FUCK! Why did it have to be Slant Six? It could have been any other developer but Slant Six...man. I hate Slant Six so much for what they did to SOCOM. I don't want to see RE dragged through the mud like SOCOM.

Well I could be wrong so correct me if I am, but the guys in black belong to the Umbrella Security Service and the other guys were S.T.A.R.S. members. And the USS's job is to destroy any evidence leading back to Umbrella for releasing the T-Virus upon Raccoon City.

others have been referred to as "spec ops". But I recall seeing some wearing the UBCS uniforms in the past. We shall see.

And yes, RE died a LONG time ago. RECVX was the last real game. RE4 betas were fucking AMAZING. But Capcom wanted more action, more elements that betrayed the series' roots. I get it, it needs evolution. But the plot went to shit when Shinji was pressured and ultimately left. Its horrible. Don't even try to argue that with me, nobody wants to go there. I will type for days. If RE6 doesn't save the franchise(which it is rumored to), I will be cutting everything post-CVX out of my brain.

This game has me excited because SlantSix is admittedly huge classic RE fans. I can tell multiplayer will be loose and frustrating. But That;s not what matters. RE2/3 atmosphere. the outbreak. Classic characters. Extracting the Gvirus from Birkin and going through all that from the USS pov. I cannot fucking wait.

Casselman, I believe a while back that I made a comment about RE4 being amazing and you literally achieved Super Saiyan 3 on me lol.

But in all seriousness I do miss the whole atmosphere of the past Resident evil games, so hopefully this game will do justice for the fans until RE6 hits.

As much as I dislike what RE has become (post-REmake and 0), I may have to check this out.

That's a pretty cool trailer. Those Umbrella Security Service guys are assholes, though. I want to play as the Spec Ops guys.

I also liked the little shellshock scene. It was a nice touch. I'm actually more interested in playing as the spec ops. Even though Hunk is my favorite Resident Evil character. (besides Tofu)

I will put it this way. RE4 and 5 were amazing games. they just werent amazing Resident Evil Games. Change some names, boom. New franchise.

They are not RE.

This looks very interesting though but I will reserve and judgement untill I see actual gameplay. This trailer sorta reminds me of Left for Dead's intro movie.

Resident Evil 2 is the only Resident Evil I have finished. What comes to the trailer, the grenade explosion at 3:35 should have exploded the rebel's legs as well, considering that it threw the car into the air and there was free space between the guy and the grenade. Anyway, it was an energetic trailer flavored with traditional enemies, clichés and some Resident Evil.

I liked RE2, but I also liked 4 and 5, the series is great, even when it did deviate from it's traditional style, their games have never been bad or sub par, they've always been quality products..

The trailer is cool, I want to play as that one guy, I like him already. II'm also a big fan of the giant gun battle, zombies, tech soldiers, and militia going at it with Tyrant rushing everyone down, so epic!

I call dibs on Vector.

That was dope, but you know what I really want? A scary game.
