Time for my mid-season report:

NFL MVP: Peyton Manning

Offensive MVP: Ladanlian Tomlinson

Defensive MVP: Brian Urlacher

Offensive Rookie: Maurice Jones-Drew

Defensive Rookie: Mario Williams

Come Back Player: Donovan McNabb

Biggest Disapointment: Arizona Cardinals (I knew that the Steelers would be horrible)

Greatest Moment: Saints Win over Falcons at the Super Dome

Now onto my predictions:

AFC Playoffs:

1. Indy 15-1
2. Denver 13-3
3. New England 12-4
4. Baltimore 11-5
5. San Diego 12-4
6. Jacksonville 10-6

NFC Playoffs:

1. Chicago 14-2
2. Atlanta 12-4
3. Philidolphia 10-6
4. Seatle 10-6
5. Carolina 11-5
6. New Orleans 11-5

Indy: They'll make it for the obvious reasons

Denver: I beleive that they will beat San Diego this year to take control of the AFC West

New England: No challenge in the East.

Baltimore: With Cincy being 4-4, it seems like Baltimore will take the North

San Diego: A loss to Denver will put them in the fifth seed.

Jacksonville: I beleive that their playoff birth will be decided at the end of the year against the Cheifs, and that they'll win

Chicago: The only reason that they'll lose another game is because they will rest their starters at the last game

Atlanta: They'll come back, and take the NFC South title

Philly: With the Giants practically cripled, and them going up against the Bears, and the Jags in the next two weeks, Philly seems to be a more likely canidate for the East now

Seatle: St Louis is their only real challenge for their West dominance. They'll lose this game, but when Hassleback comes back, they'll manage to squeeze out ten wins while ST. Louis will only get 9.

Carolina: I still think that this team is Super Bowl Material. They beat the Saints, and will do it again to get a birth

New Orleans: The will make the playoffs, but barely. Giants are still good enough to challenge for a birth

Onto the Playoffs themselves:

Wild Card

Jags @ Pats

Winner: New England 20-7

San Diego @ Baltimore

Winner: Baltimore 10-7

Carolina @ Seatle

Winner: Carolina 35-20

New Orleans @ Philly

Winner: Philly 19-17

Division

New England @ Indy

Winner: New England 27-24 (Colts always choke)

Baltimore @ Denver

Winner: Denver 19-6

Philly @ Chicago

Winner: Chicago 40-38

Carolina @ Atlanta

Winner: Atlanta 41-40

Conference:

New England @ Denver

Winner: Denver 28-17

Atlanta @ Chicago

Winner: Chicago 49-16 (Chicago can stop Vick no matter what)

Super Bowl:

Denver Broncos vs. Chicago Bears

Winner:

Denver 35-29

Denver is terrific both offensively, and defensively. Jake Plummer can lead a team into the Super Bowl, and walk out as a champion. Re xGrossman however, cannot. Brian Urlacher is a great leader, but he doesn't control what the offense does. Rex will get killed by Denver's defense, while Denver will be able to score points against the Bears. The only reason why I think this game will be so close is because Chicago still has the best defense in the league, and will pick balls off, and cause fumbles, and get great field position. In fact the only two touchdowns that the Bears will score will be on Defense.

Well, that's how I think this season will turn out from what has gone on in the first half. What do you guys think?

When San Diego came back after trailing 21, it was pretty obvious that Cincy would lose, and they did.

i cant believe i won, i thought i got like 4 right, lol..........

moseph, i knew that, but i just didnt remember, i stopped following football back then, so i just took a quick guess since i had no chance of winning a QOTW this year anyway ; )

i guess thats it, maybe im starting to do better, maybe it was just a easy week, but the games were close ( i think ) theyve been close almost every week ( for the most part.... i think... ) so yea its been interesting....

my goal is to catch up to moseph before the season ends!!

Week 11:
Atlanta at Baltimore- Baltimore defence has alot of speed and i expect them to contain vick. Alanta needs this win but their defence is depleated and there offence is struggling. Final 24-10
Buffalo at Houston-Houston i like the way they been playing the past few weeks. They swept jacksonville and i think there the only team they have a winning record vs in the south. They just own jax for some reason. Anyways buffalos offence without mcgahee is going to continue to struggle and there defence is pretty good but it can't win them games. I expect a low scoring close matchup between 2 good defences 13-10 houston.
Chicago at N.Y. Jets-Chicago big win over NY (still pissed over that 52 yard feild goal) they are the best team in the nfc right now there offence seems to be back together and the jets are comming off a big win but Chicago isn't new england there better. Final 34-7 Chi.
Cincinnati at New Orleans-Cincinnati. New orlands defence is finally catching up to them. I love their offence this season but i think as the season goes on just like last week their defence will cost them games. Cincinnati doesn't have much of a defence its self and blowing that huge lead might hurt them mentally thats y i expect them to come out firing early and often and win in a high scoring matchup. Final 42-38 Cin.
Minnesota at Miami- Miami- There finally clicking. There defence has played great the past 2 weeks and there run defence is very good. Without running the ball minneosota doesn't have an offence and i think they'll contain chester taylor enough and there offence will get enough from ronnie brown/chris chambers to win this game. Final 17-6 Miami.
New England at Green Bay- GreenBay. Greenbay is another team i love how they been playing the past few weeks even though they lost to buffalo. There young defence is comming together and AJ hawk is the real deal. NE is on free fall right now brady just doesn't have a #1 guy he can depend on. Running game is still good but they lost to the jets and the oline in pass protection is bad. I like farve and driver to hook up for a long td just like last week. Final 24-14 Green Bay.
Oakland at Kansas City- Kansas City. I really feel bad for oaklands defence because i honestly think if they had a good offence they would be atleast 2 games better then what they are now. But oakland won't stop LJ and KC should run the clock a mistake they made last week in their lost ot Miami. Final 24-7 KC.
Pittsburgh at Cleveland- Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh offence has been on fire. Willie parker is a good back one of the top 5 backs in the nfl right now and Rolishburger and Ward have been hooking up. Clevlands pass def is good there run d is bad and i execpt parker to have atleast 125 yards and 2 tds. Final 35-7 Pittsburgh.
St. Louis at Carolina-Carolina- Expect another high scoring game. Between 2 of the bests wideouts in the game torry holt whos been quiet the pass few weeks and steve smith. Also one of the best runners in the game in Steven Jackson. 2 of the most conistant qbs in Marc Bulger and Jake Delhome. It will be high scoring but in the end carlina will have enough defence to stop St. louis. Final 37-34 Car.
Tennessee at Philadelphia- Philly in a blow out i ain't breaking this one down. Mcnabb throws 3 td passes and westbrook runs for one. 42-14 Philly.
Washington at Tampa Bay- Tampa Bay. Washingtons defence is still bad and now they lose portis for the season they have a new qb and rb starting. It doesn't look good for washington. Galloway has been getting more confortable with Bruce Gradcowski and i think cadalic will have a bounce back game after a few bad weeks. Final 20-13 Tampa.
Detroit at Arizona- Detroit. I am a believer in Roy williams and kevin jones. Both will produce big and arizona would try to counter with fitz, boldin and james. This will be a high scoring game but i fav detroit. final 38-28 detroit.
Seattle at San Francisco-Seattle. They finally get alexander back. The seattle oline has finally started to gel together and once hassleback comes back in a week or 2 this team is going to be dangerous in the postseason. Defence is also playing better the past 2 weeks and i expect them to win by double digits. 27-17 Seattle.
Indianapolis at Dallas- Indy. I really believe that if any team left on indy's schedule can beat indy this reg season its dallas but i think they will fall short. Romo great play will keep him in this game but payton will show again why hes the best Player in the nfl in any position. 24-17 final indy.
San Diego at Denver (Featured Matchup) San Diego- My head says san diego i still have denver in the super bowl but right now LT is unstoppable hes the payton manning of running backs denver d is good but they won't contain LT enough so there offence (which is still growing) can have a chance to win. Really close 1 point game. Final 21-20 SD.
N.Y. Giants at Jacksonville-NYG. Well everyone knows where i am going with this both teams have inj i think eli will bounce back for a good game and get Jermany shockey involoved. I expect Jax to run the ball with taylor/jonesdrew try to do what chicago did lasts week and exploit their secondary in particular Corey webster. In the end i think with osi tuck and a few other players comming back thsi week we win a close match up. Final 27-21 NYG.
