Soooo there are alot of good games coming out in the near future. Batman Arkham City, Skyrim, BF3, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Mass Effect 3. All these are HUGE titles that most likely everyone will know.
But what my question is, what games that aren't up there in the big league can you see yourself getting? For an example. Blazblue.
(And before people tells me "your on crack, errbody knows blazblue!" I'm saying this from my point of view)
I have not heard alot of people talk about this game. I'm certain there are fans of this game. I've never played this game, but I'm looking into it. It's not super god damn popular, the graphics aren't all top notch (A game isn't just about graphics, I know) This game looks like one of those games where a kid comes into the gamestore with a spare $7.59, slaps it on the counter, looks straight into the clerk and says "HOOK ME UP, *****" (Thats when the clerk pulls out a bat, but we'll save that story for another time) This game looks like one of those cheap games you see on the shelf and it ain't worth crap. It's like 20 bucks. If that. But I'm sure it's probably a good game, if not great.
Games like that are the ones I'm talking about. I'm looking to buy those games that not everybody knows, but the game deserves to be popular, just no one gives it a chance because it doesn't have what all these Hi-res games have.
The game I'm gonna get whenever it comes out is called Skullgirls. Skullgirls is a fast-paced, 2D fighting game developed by Reverge Labs and lead by tournament champ Mike “Mike Z” Zaimont and artist Alex “o_8” Ahad. Drawing on the best features the genre has to offer, Skullgirls is designed to be a tournament-grade fighter while remaining approachable and engaging for the casual player.
Yes I did copy and paste this from the site.
Heres a video of some gameplay Oh yeah
I guess there is a system in this game where you cannot do loop combos. Just watch the damn video.
Okay, now that I have somewhat wasted my own time rambling on and possibly burnt my Hamburger Helper that I was cooking. I want you guys to discuss below. Have it my friends.

Steel Battalion and Rise of Nightmares for Kinect.
I've had enough of Dance Central and Fruit Ninja Kinect.
Forgot to add Gunstringer for Kinect as well.

if you're into Kinect games you should try Child of Eden...but wait till it's less than 20 bucks...it's really awesome and fun but kinda short.

I tend to buy the Shin megami tensei games like a freak. Started replaying Nocturne while I wait for Devil survivor 2.
Also, atlus games as a whole. They tend to pump out a lot of strategy RPG's, and are pretty much the only people still making standard JRPG's.
Suikoden series, Even though I'm pretty sure they're not making anymore now. Makes me a sad panda.

Don't bother. Continuum Shift has everything Calamity Trigger had.
Even the Teach Me Ms. Litchi stuff from the first game is in Continuum Shift. How do I know? I bought Calamity Trigger first. Oh yeah!
Traded it to my homeboy when i found out and kept my Special Edition extras.

Well I have bought "Gauntlet: Dark Legacy" about 6 times so far.
I currently have it for the Gamecube and the original Xbox. I don't regret buying it about 6 times since it is pretty much the ultimate multiplayer experience other than Mario Party 2.
Speaking of Mario Party 2, I have also purchased that several times. Same goes for Mario Party 4 (which I currently don't have [yet again] but plan on buying again).

I don't think many know this game, but I'm sure is going to be pretty epic. Oh, and it's also pretty odd if you ask me.

Any game where I can be a giraffe is a great game.
