I would LOVE to see NRS revive Killer Instinct. Next to MK, of course, this was probably my favorite fighting game back in the 90's. How awesome would it be if we saw a teaser trailer at the VGA's tomorrow night!?

Of course, if we don't, and I'm not assuming we will by any stretch of the imagination, I'd be happy with anything MK or KI related for that matter, that NRS might have down the pipeline.

It would be nice to hear something soon though. Ed Boon keeps hinting at stuff and then basically saying "no" to everything MK fans are asking about on Twitter. I guess it could be worse, he could be completely inaccessible and not on Twitter at all, but still, this whole "is it MK10? No. Is it MK for Vita? No. Is it.. No." thing is getting kinda old.

If they turn out to be true though... I would be the happiest gamer alive!
I simply LOVE Killer Instinct, maybe even more than Mortal Kombat, so to see the series being revived would be a dream come true. And to have NRS do it would just be awesome. I think they did a major good job on the new Mortal Kombat, and to see Killer Instinct in the same style, but with the amazing combo system from past games, that would just be freakingly awesome!

However... Killer Instinct is owned by Rare, and the rights to Rare have been bought by Microsoft, hence why the crappy revivals of old Rare games for the Xbox. Microsoft really haven't done a good job honouring Rare's games, and though I have wanted for Killer Instinct to return, I have been afraid of Microsoft screwing it up AND make it Xbox exclusive.

So if NRS/WB could buy the rights for Killer Instinct and make a revival happen, would just be super! I'm dreaming about it already...

i have read that these rumors were falls :( 2bad because this would be a dream come true for me2. lots of tournament pp love KI and still play tournaments, NRS is noticing this. i hope they consider to buy the rights of rare/microsoft and make KI3 or even a crossover with MK. i just don't hope it comes xbox exclusively

I would love to see the revival of Killer Instinct. I have fond but faded memories of it.

Wouldn't be against a new Killer Instinct. In fact would be happy to use Spinal and Orchid again but in a new environment. If it doesn't mean NRS leaves MK behind for 2 years only to work on another old fighting franchise.
