Ugh! After living in Hawaii for two years, I developed a major case of....
Katsaridaphobia. *Shiver*
That's the fear of roaches...I'm terrified and utterly disgusted by them!
I have a very hard time watching the final segment of Creepshow.

I'm slightly afraid of heights, just enough that climbing up a high ladder is something I won't do unless absolute necessary and that give me a queasy feeling in my stomach when I look off the ledge from high up. Nothing I can't overcome if needed.
I'm not sure if it's a true phobia or not, since I'm not afraid but I'm uncomfortable to the point of being nauseous when I'm in a small room full of loud people. Makes me so uncomfortable that I actually eat my lunch in the car rather than the break room at work even though it is in the 90's outside.

I used to have a terrible driving phobia to the point of having panic attacks. I luckily got in under control, but still do not enjoy driving.
I have a fear of loud/unexpected noises (I think it's called lithosphobia, but not sure). I've been terrified of fire alarms my whole life.
Oh, and also people dressed up as mascots/ big furry animals. My mom has a picture of me at Disneyland when I was about four years old, balling my eyes out and running away from a guy in a giant mouse costume.
Nukes,Spiders(a big one almost landed on my hand at a younger age),Posters that stare at me(its so bad that I hate staying over at my freinds house because all he has is posters staring at me including my celeb crush so I think if I do something embarrasing I think she is watching),and I'm scared of heights a little bit.It I'm glad to get that off my chest.\,,/

Arachnophobia spiders man i hate spiders
When I was young, I use to be afriad of:
the dark- everytime I would be in a dark room, I would think that mk1 goro would come out of nowhere and kill me
spiders- they just creep me out
and hights- I could even climb a ladder without wanting to barf.
Today, I'm over my fears of the dark and spiders and im barely afraid of hights.

Any members want to share some of there fears?
I have Arachnophobia AKA the fear of spiders. They're so fuzzy and I hate the way they move. It grosses me out so much.
I also have a little case of Acrophobia AKA the fear of heights. I can't stand looking down high buildings let alone my back porch. (I live 2 stories up in an apartment.) It's weird though because if I get on a plane, I don't get too nervous. I just don't really look out the window very much. It makes me faint.
So those are my main fears. What are yours?

^^Those
I only have one true phobia, and it's a really weird one that seems unique to myself-
I am *terrified* of underwater machinery, despite being a very good swimmer.
As a child, I wouldn't go near the deep end of a pool for fear of The Dreaded Drain.
I'm over that part of it now, but underwater machinery still freaks me out.
I wouldn't even *think* of going near the far end of a wave pool.
Don't wanna get ground up into hamburger, y'know
I'm also scared of death (aren't most people?), and by extension, going to the doctor (don't want to hear I have some awful disease).

Thalassophobia- Fear of the sea. Oddly enough I'm fine in lakes, but some child hood nightmares make me terrified of deep water.
Also I found this one and thought it was just plain funny :p
Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia- Fear of long words.

Kidneystonesphobia, I would HATE to have them.

Massively claustrophobic, me. Also get freaked out whenever I can't breath normally, like in steam rooms or in heavy smoke. Not sure of the correct name for that one.
I also have anxiety attacks under certain circumstances, yet have a fetish for exhibitionism, so they kinda fight it out in my mind sometimes.

I remember when I was around 9 years old, I was caught in a severe thunderstorm on the road with my family. I had developed a strong fear of wind, to the point where the sound of rustling leaves would make me nervous.
After a year I eventually got over the fear by subjecting myself to windy days, watching thunderstorms, and reading books about general weather.

I had a co-worker who was scared to death of cats, especially calico ones. Another guy I knew was creeped out by babies. He said they scared him because they didn't have hair or teeth.
