I wonder... if people on a ps3 can play against people on a ps vita.

That was confirmed at E3 when they announced crossplay between PS3 and PS Vita.

Might have to get me a vita then.

They also had a deal where if you buy a PS3 copy you get a Vita copy for free.

Yeah I heard about that cross buy feature they are doing with some games. Vitas are expensive. But Assassin's Creed Liberation looks cool and the little bundle with a white vita is the best way for me to get one without paying 300 dollars. and with PASBR, I'll be able to play with you guys still. I was looking forward to Jak, but from what I've seen, all he does is SOME hand to hand combat and mostly gun attacks. 2nd level special a Dark Jak bomb and 3rd is Light Jack. Maybe I will like him if I get the chance to play as him.

Jak defintely seems more dependent on gunplay. But I still want to try him out. As for me, my main remains Nariko.

Though if Kat is revealed she could easily make my Top 5.

Jak's Supers are based on each respective game, level 1 involves the Blue Eco vent from TPL, level 2 brings in Dark Jak (introduced in Jak 2), and level 3 is Light Jak (technically from Jak 3, but its first appearance was in TPL at the end of the final boss fight)

The more I watch it, the more this game looks fun. I hope they add in more DLC other than the costumes for pre-order. Whats so great about this game is that you don't have to know the character inside out to be good with them. Everyone can use anyone. Its just a matter of what character you like a lot. Raiden and Jak are gonna be my tops. They look fun. If they add in just one more MGS character or perhaps Wander, then I'll have a top 3.

Lara would be an intersting choice. As well as an obvious rival to Drake, which would be great. But I really like this roster right now, I think it represents Playstation very well.

Now the only character I feel that this game is really missing is Crash Bandicoot. He was the face of the PS1 and was made for a game like this. So he's a perfect fit.

Of course there's always DLC, but I don't want to always rely on personal wants to be released to DLC. They could have had some other interesting choices of characters, not saying that what they have are bad, but it could have been nice to see some other choice of characters, especially if we're whipping characters out from each era.

Playstation 1 era had some pretty nifty characters, Lara, Raizel, Rikimaru, Spyro, Bandicoot, Blasto... just naming a few off of my head.

We could have seen some older characters make the list and not DLC, that is if they are going to be DLC, that is if they even have a chance to be in this game.

Although, I will say, I'm looking forward on this game!

Though DLC is a very high possibility, I was expecting at least 24 characters. Still, I am happy with this roster. So for everyone hoping for Crash, Cloud, Sora, Snake, and Spyro don't lose hope. There's always DLC.

Lol people actually canceled their pre-orders because Superbot didn't announce Crash or Spyro.

The joke is on them for missing out on a game that will be great with or without those characters.

Beta goes public for all on October 23rd

PS Vita and Playstation Plus members can get it tomorrow in the PS Store. The rest of us get it next Tuesday. The beta ends October 30th.

Personally, I can't wait to get my hands on Kratos, Parappa, and Radec.
