At first glance, yes they look alike.

HOWEVER

Play the game and it's vastly different from Smash Bros. They are as different as SF and MK.

Kratos is "all around" fighter.
His rival is Sweet Tooth.
No clue about the Cross Play.
Honestly, I find Smash Bros. more fun but this is fun too in its own right. Single Player is rather tedious as fuck. MP is obviously where it's at lol

Kratos is a mid-range character, his Blades give him good range. He uses his blades primarily, but can use his Barbarian hammer, Nemean Cestus, Icarus wings, and the Bow of Apollo. His rival is Sweet Tooth.

Haven't tried the Crossplay, but it wouldn't surprise me if I played against someone on a Vita online.

In all honesty, I like this game more. The only similarity it has to Smash Bros is appearance. Gameplay is a completely different story.

And screens for Kat! God damn it I want to play as her. If they manage to put 2 people from each franchise or ones that they can, I hope they bring in Raven.

I think it's pretty interesting that they have such different playstyles. Emmett being a keep away character, while Kat is more about being aggressive and confrontational.

Just bought All Stars. Ill be on later tonight after I get off work maybe. And Whop, I tried adding you but you are at your limits to friends. Alakaxam is my PSN if you want to add.

I bought the game earlier this week. And it is really fun! I must say, I'm a bit disappointed in Jak and Dante, they aren't as fun as I had hoped. I am training in using Jak though, he's just kinda tricky and also a bit slow, in my opinion.

I love Raiden and find him to be the ultimate melee character. Though he has no ranged attacks what so ever, he has some great moves to push himself closer to the opponents. I can't wait 'till Metal Gear Rising is released! :D

As for Dante, he has a good mix of moves, but I find them lacking. It's like he is a "jack of all trades but master of none" kinda character which is rather disappointing. He has some quick attacks, he has some hard, but slow attacks, he has some ranged attacks, but none of them are all that good. :(

So my top 3 list:

1. Raiden.
2. Jak.
3. Fat Princess.

Yeah, Fat Princess really surprised me, because in the trailers she looked rather boring, but she is incredibly fun to play as! Also a bit tricky to master, but still fun as hell. :P

Kratos... man, he's just a cheap son of a bitch. XD

We need to have some matches. It's about time for an MKO FFA.

As for Kratos, he's not that bad. His moves bring him closer to the action, otherwise he's kind of slow. Not to mention, his range game is weak. His arrows only get 5 AP per hit, 10 AP if you charge it.

If anyone is cheap it's Sackboy. That DAMN fan.

Yeah Jak wasn't as good as I hoped he'd be. I play alot with Heihachi. I'm trying to find 2 more. Impatiently waiting for Kat.
