Nothing sounds cleaner than brand new vinyl, cd's can't get some of the sounds that vinyl has, I've noticed this with hard to find songs. I notice it alot particularly with Jazz, you can get the extra bass and other small background instruments on vinyl more than the cd's I heard.

I guess you're one of those people who doesn't "get" him. You are a terrible musician to say the noises go off at random points, though. Have you never heard of time signatures other than 4/4? Do you even know what a time signature is? Go make a decent drum edit. Anything where I won't recognize the original. Use an Amen. Have it done by the end of today, if you can.

Uhhh hehe heh huuhuhuu. I heard "hand throw" and gave up on him instantly and lost whatever hope there was for mankind. First of all, the second an.. artist.. uses that annoyingly overused faggot gabber "boom" sound, it makes me bloodthirsty. VS obviously has no real practice in wtf he's doing nor does it look anything like he bothered to finalize his work. It really doesn't matter what this fool uses to make his jibber-jabba. I could easily rip into that horrid shit you have in your sig, but I won't simply because you like one type of music and I like another. Honestly, I couldn't listen to that shit for more than 3 seconds before turning it off. Sounds like such shit to me. I hate almost anything with normal time signatures.

Well, it really depends on the type of music you like. Like I said, I like songs with hard crazy beats. Snares just released a REALLY jazzy 2 song record, though. I like it a lot. It's more traditional sounding music. Really soft, too. He even sampled the harmonic chorus part in Edward Scissorhands near the end. Weird stuff. Basically, if you don't like busted beats and experimental electronic shit, you won't like most of his stuff, though.

As for the Amen, I was referring to Amen Brother by The Winstons. It's basically the most sampled drum break in the history of music. You've probably heard it in 1000 electornic tunes but never noticed it. Send yourself here. That has a lot of the classic breaks that a lot of people chop up.

Oh, and if you ever need to do that little snare rush thingy from a lot of the Aphex songs, just run the first 8th or so of a snare together with a bunch of others.
