I am having the same problems. New images (minus ones I have cached already) do not load, and after visiting the MKO forums, other websites seem to fail loading new images. I've tried it on two separate computers, and only one of the computers seems to have the problem (Compaq Pissario ... I mean Presario). The computer is fairly new, and I've emptied the cache, ran a SpyWare Prog, and Virus check ... all to no avail.

CCShadow or Scott ... is it possible that the images on the frontpage are creating some sort of problem?

I tried the google thing but then realised my username is a little common.
So I found the link to a fourum on MKOnline and It works like a treat now
So it must be something to do with those 3 pics that I can't see on the main page

Yeah, I've been having exactly the same problem. Even with an emptied cache and cable access, pics still don't show. It sometimes work properly when I directly go to the forums instead of the main page, but it's still very annoying. It also started since the new images were uploaded, and the same problem occurs on some other sites I visit after this site...

Well if those pics really are causing these problems then it’s still strange why not everyone has got it. Lets just hope we get some more updates soon so that those pics will be bumped off the main page, maybe then everything will be back to normal.

I agree they really need to fix that. Everytime I come to MKO it messes me up with those 3 pics, I have to shut my browser and reopen a new otherwise it effects every page I go to. Get on it team!

Besides the crack I made about Scott, the reason why I haven't posted ON-topic in this thread is 'cause I have yet to have that problem ever since the pictures first showed up.

Like they said, they don't know what to fix 'cause they AREN'T having the problem. There's gotta be something specifically wrong with your PCs or browsers or whatever, but I really doubt they know what the hell it is confused

It has nothing to do with the screenshots. Trust us. It's a DNS thing, your people's DNS servers are just wacky. It will probably fix it self in time.

Ok I went to another friend computer and an internet cyber cafe and the problem is still there. Sorry to bother you scott but I don't think it is my computer since all the other site work just fine. I tested that with the other computers aswel.

Ir'a not your computer but through either local ISPs in your area and at the cafe, etc. It's a DNS issue with certain connections. We'll look into it, but it's probably not on our end.

There is absolutely NO reason why Scott is wrong here! I have just now switched ISPs. It was working just FINE when I had AOL (and my browser, of course, was Internet Explorer 6). After I switched over to SBC Yahoo! DSL...THAT'S when the problems popped up, and it was on my same computer.

EDIT--An update on this. I just now tried logging onto this site through Netscape 7.1, and it is working the way it normally should right now.

EDIT #2--Someone mentioned something about Microsoft releasing some critical updates earlier. I just now installed those updates, and now the site's working on both Netscape 7.1 and Internet Explorer 6 SP1. Those using IE, you might want to go to microsoft.com and download those critical updates. They helped quite a bit.

Yeah, I just went through windowsupdate.com and downloaded all the updates (thought I already did), and that seems to have fixed it, which I guess is good, because Scott's explanation made no sense whatsoever, especially in light of it working just fine in Netscape...
