Psi-Ops = One of the coolest games EVER!

Seriously, words can not express how happy I am with this game. It oozes coolness and doesn't stop.

The Ability to Make objects move... To throw em. To actually ride on them all with your mind seems like it would be tough as hell to pull off. However Midway did it right. Its so simple, and you get used to it so quickly! Give it maybe 10 minutes max and you'll be lifting up gas tanks and hurling them at enemies. Picking enemies up from across the stage and lighting them up with your machine gun before deciding to throw them into the wall a couple of times. Or how about Draining someone SO much that their head explodes? So fucking cool. You can actually Blow someones head off with a shotgun, Lift their body off the ground and send it hurling at other enemies.

And the opening intro was pretty badass with the epic chorus playing.

Never has there been a more fun training level.
If you're thinking about Renting or Buying this game... Buy it. EVEN THE TRAINING IS FUN! You get unlimited Psi-Power and ammo. I was in the first training mission for about an HOUR just fucking around with the boxes and dead bodies in the room!

My rating so far: Two mother fucking thumbs way up.

I've been seeing a lot of Psi-Ops flash ads all over the internet. From those things it made me very interested in the game as well I've seen a few interviews and show offs of the game on G4. I must say the game looks very orginal. I am seriously thinking about getting this game sometime this summer. Nice to see someone POV as a gamer like this game. I hope to pick it up sometime in the near future.

You play as Nick Skryer... he had his memory erased and later on in the game he gets his Psi powers reawakened. Uhh... there is this group called "The Movement" run by some pretty tough Psi dudes. My only complaint with the game would be the controls/overly huge levels (as it becomes kinda hard to tell where you need to go in one level.)

The game also has a trailer for MK:D/Suffering/Area 51. I also like how they have this cool ultra-long video that has the creators talk about the concept developement.

Uhh... I think that covers it. Hey, Soprano's fanboi, where are you at now? I'm over at this part where Sarah takes you to some... compound place.

They give you all the powers in the Demo. The Demo isn't really comparable to the real game. The way you obtain/regain your powers in the real game is much cooler.

I didn't pay for the game but its worth $50. No doubt.

I just got my July copy of Game Informer, and they gave Psi Ops a 9/10. From what I've seen and heard, this game is badass. I'm definitely gonna buy it.

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes looks awesome. I was gonna buy Halo 2, but after seeing Metroid Prime 2 I've changed my mind. Hopefully I'll save enough money to buy both.

I passed up on the "instant buy" of Psi-Ops because Bujingai was coming out on almost that same day. I had been waiting for Bujin since I saw the japanese version almost a year ago. But now it's been delayed till the end of the month, the more I see PO the more I want it, and I don't have any money because I'm going on vacation in a few days... -_-. Bujingai better be damn creamy.

I'll be sure to pick up Psi-Ops soon, though - sorry Ray, heh.

Ray is the level designer of PSI-OPs. During MKDA's prime, he was a very active member of this board. IF you look under MKDA forum, some of his posts are stickied.

Havent had a chance to pick the game up yet, but i look foward to playing it. Congratulations Ray on the game, as it looks to be very promising, and well recieved by the fans.

I bought this game the day it came out. I am extremely happy with it. Have you found any of the Lawn Gnomes yet? The first time I found one I got confuzed and started shooting at it thinking it was a mine or something. The Evil Lawn Gnome RULEZ!! The worst part about this game is that I think I am almost done. I am pretty sure I have all the Psi-Powers. -_- Will be a sad day when I beat it.

I finally made it past that damned illusion maze shit.

Man, that was tough and annoying as all hell. Oh yeah, have you gotten pyrokinesis yet? I wash hoping one would be able to send flames in the air/send flames while holding the enemy in the air but no. =(


Ya gotta fight Barret's fattie ass too. Oh yeah, Sarah supposedly "betrays" you but it's just a phony or something because it seems Sarah is still on your side.
