The trailer itself is quite poor. First of all, the soundtrack in the beginning is The Whose Baba O'Riley which is also the theme of CSI: New York and secondly the latter song resembles the themes of Tron and Inception. What it tells about the movie in the other hand, well it looks like an interesting concept, but it doesn't convince me when I see flying dinosaurs in a zombie movie. I won't make further conclusions based on this trailer.

I always hated the movies. The game had a great story to it already but they decide to make a completely new character. Typical hollywood bullshit. I hated all of them (even the first one). Don't care how cool it is if it's missing the original story well then its not the same. I wish they would stop making these movies. All they do is get worse every movie...

And hollywood wonders why people download there films instead of wasting money on movie tickets.
What's worse is that they intend on using things from RE5 in the last two movies. With Wesker throwing his sunglasses as well as those big axe weilding fucktards and now Jill, who is her brainwashed self, makes a comeback as an antagonist.
I'm probably not going to see this movie, as in the entire series, I just read up on it on the REwikia for some odd reason. I remember seeing how Jill and Leon were once partners though he died. Are they going to come up with a story on how he's in this movie while also claiming that he's been dead all this time?
Or are they going to completely ignore that? Because I remembered that specifically since he's my all-time favorite character from the series.

The fourth movie saved it. The only thing RE2 or 3 had going for them in theatres were the raccoon city and global outbreak. I was getting sick of super psychic alice and all her bullshit.
Bang, back to human.
Bang, no more domesticated zombie.
Bang, A real sense of stronghold.
Bang, plot twist with arcadia.
The series of films is laughable. But Afterlife did everything right to prevent this from turning into DragonballZ.
Now with more returning to pre-RE1 roots, this has the potential to be the best since the original film from 2002.

Was immensly let down and dissapointed with the last movie, in fact people were laughing at the acting in the cinema when I went to go see it. Don't think I'll be in any rush to see this.

Don't like at all. Plus that one chick from the first movie had been bittin turn into a zombie then got shot in the head and died. But she's back in this one as a normal person?

I liked the last movie. This one looks fun.
You just gotta keep in mind the RE movies took a course of their own, and while still taking cues from the games, you are never gonna have a movie with an ambiance like RE1. They are action flicks, with bangs and booms. I think if u take them for what they are you will enjoy them a lot more.
My only wish and desire from this future film is to see that abortion called K-mart die once and for all.

I'll watch this movie. They're are always awesomely bad and good times. I don't know why Michelle Rodriguez is back, but I bet it's totally misleading. Like in part 3, where you think they went back to part one with the red dress and the mansion, but it was only some brief facility simulation that wound up playing no big part of the movie.

You should reconsider. I really enjoyed the first one, but Apocalypse is one of the worst movies i've ever seen. It's the MK Annihilation of the RE franchise. However, the series improves with RE3 greatly, especially if you liked the first one since Extinction (the third movie) has a ton of references to the beginning, including the soundtrack.
Afterlife's 50/50 on me. It has some of the best special effects I've ever seen in a movie. It was by far one of the best 3D experiences I had in theatres, and the soundtrack/editing/visuals were all off the hook.
Unfortunately the storyline and script were garbage.
I hope this one improves on that level.

Really? Exctinction was the point when I gave up on the franchise.
I can stand a few changes in the original RE lore for the sake of storytelling, but within the first 5 minutes of the movie we're told how the T-virus spread around the globe, most of the population of the world died and the planet has become a deserted wasteland where everyone lives Mad Max style.
No thanks. That's not Resident Evil anymore.
